OK so I just got this yesterday and used it twice and I'll probably update this when it breaks . so I have a 16lb yorkie poo, I think the size M was just slightly too small on the count that they only fit when hair and nails are done. (We are in a grooming war so only 1 foot is cut and shaved) when I first put them on she fought me the whole time and walked all weird in them because she is not used to anything on her feet. My laughing did not help her confidence. After I let her run and play outside for an hr she was one happy camper. They did not rip (believe me she was trying to destroy these things) 1 fell off but it was never properly on and I saw that before hand. She can't dig with them also can't grip the ground with them so she slid when she her lighting McQueen. I can know hear her when she walks and they make the cutest funniest sound ever. Ultimately she ended up liking them and would not let me take them off and hr later, I had to wait til she went to sleep.Day 2 its freezing raining (literally) today she did not run just a casual stroll, usually 5mins Into rain walks (minus summer) she is freezing and want to go inside (even with rain coat), today she walked for 20 mins (sadly) in the rain. Oh and did I forget to mention that she just let me put on these boots and jacket with no fuss! I got all the boots on correctly, I noticed when I twist it side to side like a door knob while pulling the back tab up I can properly get them on. She came in with dry feet and body ! Again I fought her to take them off I had to offer a treat to get rid of them. LlsOverall I would buy more of these in every color and may up the size but definitely want more!

I have a four month old Shih Tzu that weighs 8lbs. I originally ordered him a size one based on the reviews. But had to return them and reorder a pair based on their sizing chart which helped a lot. He ended up needing a large (size3) because these run super small. But the fit was perfect and I’m super pleased with how easy they were to put on him. He got used to them very quickly. They’re comfortable and soft. Best puppy boots I have yet to buy. Would definitely buy more in different colors.

UPDATE BELOWThe velcro on one boot came off within days of receiving the boots. Only worn like twice. The Velcro came right off and the boot fell off of my dog during a walk. Apparently can’t request a return or any help, tried to figure out how to request a replacement but no luck. So disappointed that these boots were so cheaply made that they fell apart after two uses. Do not buy, spend the money to get better boots elsewhereUPDATE: the company reached out after seeing my unhappy review and refunded me for the boots. So at least their customer service was pretty good!

I’ve been using these for my dog the past 6 years. They last about 8-12 months. The velcro starts to wear off after a while but the rest of the boot is still in great condition. At first, it takes time to get used to knowing how to securely keep the boot on your dog’s paw. The trick is to ensure you get the right size and that the paw is all the way inside before you fasten the velcro.I use it for many reasons 1. my dog has really bad allergies. Having clean paws helps her not lick so much to clean herself off after her walk. I only use it when going outside. I remove them in the house. 2. We live downtown and there are feces, urine, and all other bodily fluids you can think of that can be tracked in her furry paws. I don’t have to wipe or wash her paws after every walk. Constant wiping and washing would not be good for her (irritants and allergies, etc.). 3. Lastly, in the summer it can get quite hot and sometimes the concrete or beach sand can blister dog’s paws. Although, not as prevalent in our area, but it can from time to time (especially inland).People point, stare, laugh, ask questions or make comments about dog’s wearing shoes, but it really doesn’t matter. Do what you think is best for your dog and their well being. :)Also, I am lucky because my dog instantly walked normal in them. It all depends on the dog. You would be surprised.

These dog boots are great! They are adorable and very functional.I have searched for years to find a pair of dog shoes to protect Elmo's feet from burrs on hikes and to use on muddy rainy days. These boots fit perfectly, and Elmo was able to run at full maniac speed in them without them flying off! I highly recommend these to anyone searching for dog boots. I already purchased a second pair.

I bought these for my 1 year old Goldendoodle. She's about 50 lbs. My backyard is so full of mud that every time she goes outside to play she comes in with her feet coated in mud. I bought these hoping they would help me in keeping her feet dry and clean. At first she hated the them and would run in the opposite direction every time I pulled them out. Now she tolerates them, and lets me put them on pretty easily. She can sometimes kick them off if they're not tight enough, but overall they stay on her feet. It definitely has helped, and my house is much less muddy! Also I can just rinse them off if they get dirty.

I've ordered a bunch of these over the years for my dashounds. Ive always gotten a size medium and they've all fit perfectly. They are adjustable so I can appreciate that. But these are NOT WATERPROOF!!!! Water/snow still gets into the top of the boots! But these are wonderful for alot of other uses. Such as protecting paw pads from hot pavement, cold snow, salt, glass & other sharp objects, etc... I use them all the time. The Velcro is stiched on but its not heavy duty. Over time the Velcro either gets ripped out or chewed off lol. The pink boots have two different color tones of pink and I'm personality very particular about small things like that. But, the are useful all in all, just not waterproof. *A REAL non-discounted customers review.
