I have always given "Glo-E" bears and other glowing plush animals as a present to new parents as well as to my own children, to use as a night light of sorts, but they were on the expensive side. I tried this product out and was excited when I opened it. Glo-E products cycle for 20 minutes, then shuts off. You can get 4 to 6 months of use before you had to change the batteries. This product does NOT have a timer on it, and will run until either someone shuts it off or the batteries run out.The lights are not overly bright, while that is what you want in a child's glow toy, but without the timer, that lack or brightness is a problem. It's difficult to see if the lights are on or off during the daytime.We had it for 5 days and we have had to change batteries 2 times.The Glo-E Products are $10.00 more, and I wish I would have spent the extra money. At the current rate, it won't take long to go thru $10 worth of AA Batteries, and this product will end up costing a lot more at the end of the day.

While the bear itself is cute, my negative review stems from the misleading description of the bear being made of a 50/50 blend of cotton and cashmere. The bear has a label that shows it's made of 100% polyester. Pay attention to the negative reviews and stay away from this product. Please stop the deceptive advertising!

The bear alone is very cute. Its easy to set up. It came with batteries. There is a zipper on the back of the bear. You can turn the bear on and off with a switch. The bear is very bright and and be left on for hours. It glows very brightly and can light up a whole room. The only downside is that it gave my daughter headaches due to its outstanding colors. The bear is bigger than I thought it would be. Very nice!!

Can't complain, they showed up on time, and they light up the way they are supposed to. We gave them as gifts and the individuals that got them love them. So they are a good purchase.

This was poor quality. The first day we had it- the bear shorted out. His eye came off, and there was a hole in the arm. Would not recommend. Lights are beautiful if they work- however the stuffed animal quality is extremely poor. I would recommend the light up dolphin. I think it's made by the same company - but much better quality. I've bought 2 of those and they have held up well.

Better than described, the colors are vibrant and it works beautifully! It comes with batteries that have lasted weeks so far, we purchased this as a gift for my son's girlfriend but my youngest daughter loved it so much we ordered another one for her. Fast delivery too!

We purchased this as a night light type thing for our daughter and the batteries don't even last more than one night in the bear. Even tho I replace brand new ones. For the purpose I wanted, it doesn't work well

The lights stay on all night. Therefore, it only lasts one night. I had to get rechargeable batteries and replace them EVERY day! Maddening. However, the bear is big, soft, and my daughter adores it.
