It works, but the holes don't line up with the gate it is supposed to be compatible with. Ended up having to drill extra holes and buy bolts to anchor to the gate.

This would have been given 5 stars, but I had to go to the hardware store to buy the screws to connect the extension to the gate. The screws that came with it were at least 1/2 inch too short. Otherwise, the gate and extension work well on my front porch.

This is an easy gate to hang and set up. Works very well and have been using one for 15 years in the house. This was just a replacement part for our existing gate.

This extension along with the gate, created the the prefect width to use as a barrier on our patio. The extension bolts firmly to the gate, creating on longer swinging gate or in our case since we needed the full width, we found that we could use the slide aspect, normally used to adjust the width, to open and close the gate by sliding the adjustment portion.

As others have said; the product is durable but without the correct size bolts, it isnt sturdy and could be a safety issue. So off to the hardware store to buy the longer bolts that should have came with the product in the first place

Good quality but a major problem when hooking the gate up to the extension piece. And I paid something like $35 for the outdoor stainless steel hardware which didn't even have enough bolts in it to use to put it together. The holes would not line up at all for the gate to lock and we had to drill them out.

Easy to install and keeps the dogs contained where I need them

Gates are light weight but solid.
