The brush decapping comb and give tool are just what I needed, simple. The smoker is great. Perfect size. I bent the tabs of the baffle down to keep the fuel off the bottom and above the air inlet. I used regular brown twine as my fuel. Produces excellent smoke some leaks around the cone but it does not affect its performance. Definitely getting another if and when needed.

The smoker lid is a very tight fit. Today makes about the sixth or seventh time I've used it and the top section fell off. This isn't something you just put back on as it broke off in the seam.

Is a nice budget starter kit. Sometimes the lid doesn't close good and you have to bang it down but overall is a good starter kit.

Everything works great, is well made, and is made out of solid materials, and at a nice price. My only complaint is that I wish there was an easier way to hold and pump the smoker while using, but it works fine.

It's been about 6 months since I've purchased this set. The uncapping fork had bent teeth so was never usable. Didn't care so much as it's not something I use. The smoker hinge rivets have already broken so the cover just fall apart. The bellows will suck ash back onto you. The brush is very servicable as well as the hive tool. I wouldn't buy this set again if given a choice.

I use the smoker on my fellow workers when they get to excited..... settles them down nicely,, dont know how it works on bee's though.. its winter here in Alaska ..

My husband likes this kit. He was having a difficult time finding the flat brush. Would recommend to other home beekeepers.
