They are great for learning shapes but also working on some fine motor skills to turn the pieces to the correct orientation. Within a day or two, he was able to correctly fit the pieces into each puzzle when handed to him as a set, within a few weeks he was able to match up the shapes to the correct puzzles and fit them in completely. So far the puzzles are holding up well. I haven't noticed any scratching or denting on the pieces or puzzle bases. The only thing I am not a fan of is that the knobs are held on with a screw with nothing covering them. We haven't has issues with knobs coming loose, but it is something I keep a close eye on because he likes to put the pieces in his mouth like he would use a pacifier.

Quality is good. I like that the handles are screwed on versus glued on, because my baby tries to use them as a pacifier. For that reason, I'm probably going to put them away until he's a little older, but they are nice.

High quality, simple, engaging. Timeless. And most importantly isn’t battery operated. This puzzle will not moo at you randomly when you walk by.

Paint chips off easily.

Fell apart instantly. The little knobs come off easily because they are only glued on. One wasn’t properly attached in the first place, another came off within minutes of play. The toy as is, is not safe for kids to play with.

This has been a great learning tool for my 14 month old. The four puzzle bases are the same size and are well built. The individual puzzle pieces are also well built. So far thr paint has not chipped and they been played with pretty roughly for over a month. At thr tome of this review there was only one other review and that person said their knobs were falling off because of the glue. My puzzle came with screws through the puzzle piece into the knob. All screws were properly tightened and have shown no sign of coming undone. I feel 100% confident leaving my baby unattended with this puzzle for a minute or two.
