Decent blade for the $
I'm a knife fan. For the price you get a very decent blade. Yes the sheath is crappy and the edge is thick and needs reprofiling but once this gets an edge. U will have a very strong knife. Grip is great. I have large hands but even my small girlfriend feels comfortable with it. Very nice for someone getting into hand sharpening. Good practice on this before ruining a more expensive blade. This can be a beater you lend out to buddies.

This is an excellent knife.
This is a very Stout and purpose-built knife. The only thing I would change would be the sheath. If you're not in active duty a sheath should always be adaptable to iwb. Nylon cloth works but not well. An increased price would indeed be welcome if this knife had a kydex sheath. Guess I'll have one made.

Curved Tip for Close Cuts
Ontario makes blades for branches of the military and this is their latest model. Standard combat knives don't have the handle construction or length for hacking. The Alpha series puts your hand closer to the tang and are thicker. I used this one to cut Sugar Cane and it feels like a chopper.

Skip it. Not worth the cheap price.
Knife was sent with no edge at all, uneven grind, garbage sheath with no molle attachment capabilities. Handle feels weak, thin, and ergo makes me grasp on the blade. This is a cool looking knife but a terrible and dangerous example of a combat knife.

very poor craftsmanship...
I am very disappointed in this knife. A) the sheath is very poorly made to big for the blade and not functional. B) the handle is thin and cheaply made and again poorly executed. C) the knife arrived dull ... not a little dull but wouldn't cut paper dull .. I have had great experience with Ontario Knife... but this one was bad. I will be returning this knife

So poorly made I threw it in the trash
I’ve been happy with other knives made by Ontario, but this one was so janky I just threw it away. Poorly shaped and cheap handle. The coating on the blade was rough and sticky. Knife came “butter knife” dull and had poor balance. I suppose I could have returned it, but I just chucked it in the trash.

Price was good
The sheath is junk all manufacturers should use kydex for the sheaths
