Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I researched for so long (literally five or six hours) to find a smartlock with all of the functionality I wanted. WOW does this fit the bill. It comes with one IR tag (keychain) which is a huge deal for my wife and I to simply swipe our keys to enter the house (you have the option to purchase more tags and program them). All the other functions are there... App unlock via bluetooth and further functionality with a bridge to unlock and lock completely remotely. Multiple codes can be set up with time parameters or based on the number of times a code is allowed to be used. You can also grant "e-keys" to family members which allows them to use the app to lock and unlock as well as gives you the option to grant them admin rights if you so choose. There is an optional auto-lock function so that when you close the door, the sensor connects and locks the door upon entering (this may not be aesthetically pleasing to some because they are similar to an alarm sensor, but it was worth the added security for us...AND IT'S INCLUDED). The biggest concern that I had before pulling the trigger was the "Rently" logo that was mentioned in other reviews, but because of the functionality of the lock (and disruptive pricing) I pulled the trigger accepting the fact that I would have to find a way to block out the logo. When I opened the package, I found the beautiful new "oaks" logo which is so very "apple clean" (they are out of California after all). If you're looking for a lock, it doesn't get much better than this...and not just for the price... for the quality, ease of installation, aesthetics, and overall functionality. As soon as I'm able, I will be purchasing 2 more and an additional IR tag. THANK YOU OAKS for making a product that STANDS OUT in a market of overpriced and admittedly lackluster alternatives.

Very cool product. Love it. But it has a huge logo on the front that is not shown in the product photos at all

I recently purchased this lock sometime towards the end of May 2019. The product is very sleek and modern..However... My device is now having issues locking and unlocking my door after inputting the access code! This started happening out of the blue and I have had this device for less than two months :(I changed the batteries thinking maybe is didnt have enough "juice" but that was not the issue! I am very unhappy with this product at the moment but I also liked it when it was working!Also, when installing the device, there is a door sensor you want to hook up....however the sensor seems useless because my thought was that the lock would automatically lock when it sensed the senor. It will lock itself rather the door is wide opening because the only setting for the "auto lock" feature is a timed auto lock....so the sensor doesn't matter apparently...I really want to love this lock but as of right now, it is not doing the job it should be doing. 1 star...

My family has installed electronic deadbolts on all their houses and I thought this would be an awesome upgraded version.Pros:-Easy enough instal, requires a (2 1/8 hole I had to drill)-beautiful lock-functions like it should for the most partCons:-Can’t disable auto lock- Auto-lock sensor is just a sensor that’s command striped to door and trim- Delay for touch pad to work. Seriously you have to touch it...wait a few seconds then it will light up then you can enter the code- Can’t create guest codes unless you are 2 meters from lockOverall it works but the $75 ones with actual buttons work better because they don’t have the delay this one does.Update: it’s already failing. Auto lock feature is working 70% of the time. It’s already been unresponsive 4 times where I had to use a different entrance. I was hopeful because the design is beautiful, the app is easy but the function is not great

We are in love! We recently purchased 2 locks for our rental property (front and back door) after spending over 5 hours researching locks and installed them this past weekend. This lock checked every single box we were searching for in a smart lock. We love the ability to generate ekeys and passcodes remotely w/o wifi. The ability to use an ekey, passcode, mobile app, key, and key fob provides so much flexibility. We can view all activity of the door lock (unlocking and locking) remotely via the app and not having wifi. The installation video is very straight forward. We can't wait to purchase the wifi addition to enable us to customize keys and passcodes remotely and unlock/lock the door from afar. Our only complaint would be when we generated a passcode for a specific date and time range, we tapped the generate button twice. This created 2 passcodes with the same exact passcodes. We assume that the 2 passcodes had the same number/passcode generated because the specific date and time range (start and end time) were exactly the same. One was automatically named the actual passcode number sequence, and we named the second past code a customized name. We deleted the first passcode that was automatically named after the passcode number itself and kept the customized name passcode. Well when our guest tried to enter the customized name passcode on the key pad, the code failed although it was showing as active. We believe there is a flaw in the coding/programming that allows generated passcodes with the same exact start time and end time to generate the same passcode rather than generate a completely different sequence of numbers. Luckily, we were able to use another feature of the smart lock. We were able to immediately send the guest an ekey that allowed access to the unit. Despite this minor flaw, we believe this is the best smart key currently in the market! We can't wait to try out the other products.
