Love this light bulb. It’s very large and gives off a great vintage glow which is not too bright and looks great in my over sized oped ceiling light shade. Definitely buy again.

I bought six of these for a vintage/industrial style chandelier in our old cottage (wooden beams etc) and they are perfect for creating a warm and cosy atmosphere. They give off a golden or amber glow when lit and are equally attractive when they are off.One of the six was faulty (it happens with bulbs) but the seller replaced it very quickly and was a pleasure to deal with throughout.Highly recommended.

Looks lovely!! Can't see in the photograph, but when it's lit, you can see the filament, which is just what I wanted. Unsure of longevity so far, as only had it a couple of months - am hoping it's long lasting!

Plugged it in switched on and it blew after less than a second, blew the fuse in the lamp too. Maybe the bulb design is perfectly ok but perhaps mail order is not the best way to buy such items. Got the refund OK. Went to a local hardware store bought a new bulb (I have to say that it cost more, though) and a new fuse so I'm fairly happy.

You don't buy an Edison lamp for efficiency - you buy it for the retro ambiance glow that only comes from those 1920,s era Edison's with Glowing filaments inside a large envelope glass bulb - used with a dimmer turn them down to 30% brightness admire those filaments glowing bright orange very relaxing - also a dimmer will extend there lifetime many, many times over by lowering the voltage to the lamps (4 of mine are now 7 years old

I found an antique lamp base and wanted to mix old and new with a funky bulb. After ordering a few that didn't look right I found this one. It's large, vintage looking and the perfect wattage. It arrived promptly and was well packed. I'm very pleased with it 👍

As per one of other reviews, the bulb does have scratches :( which is sad because it’s a beautiful vintage looking light bulb. For such amount of money it should NOT have any scratches.
