Awesome product
I frequently camp in my Toyota Sequoia in the wilderness. I have the Napier sports cove tent for the back, but in warm weather it still gets a little stuffy. These helped so much. The concept is great, it feels pretty durable, and I love the awning over the window to help with shade and keeping rain out. I ordered 2 sets so I can do the front windows as well as back. Love this product

Perfect for car camping.
Worked as advertised. Used to camp in back yard and also in Disney World. Kept bugs and rain out but let plenty of air in.

Better than I expected...yay
I needed to camp in a 2008 Ford Escape. These fit the windows well. I could put these in for privacy. They zip for screen and rain protection (rain was tested-- they passed! YAY). The only difficulty was the design in securing them to the door. I wasn't using my doors (I could crawl through the front of the car...so no worries). The straps provided didn't secure the canopies as well as pictured. But again, if you aren't opening and closing the doors, no biggie. You can't LOCK the screens or flaps, so...just a thought... your windows are still rolled down...but you can roll them up without disturbing the canopy. These also work well for my dog on sunny autumn days- keeping the car shaded and screened with a breeze. Super economical.

Great for basic ventilation
This was my third year car camping with these but first time camping in the middle of summer. The reflective fabric seemed to generate heat (you can see the hot pink reflection in photo). They didn’t hold up well during summer thunderstorms. The inside of my car became wet due to the window tents not being water-resistant preventing the car’s weather stripping from sealing out water. Which could be because there’s excess fabric due to my car windows being smaller than a suv. They are great for keeping out bugs, added privacy, and providing ventilation.

Everything I was looking for
Does exactly what I want - provide a screen over door for SUV camping. Looked at different options and brands. What I like about this one: comes as a set of 2 (cross ventilation), the "little tent" cover on outside of window (provides some sun screening &protection during a non wind blowing rain), the rain fly (for when it's rainy & windy), the ease of installing / reinstalling, the tight adjustable fit on various door sizes, and the velcro strapping for door jam to aid in fit. No regrets in buying this. Have used it on 4 trips so far. Getting ready for a 3 week trip where I'll use it every night.Have already recommended this product to my many Colorado friends who do a lot of camping.

Great product!
I got these for my 2002 Toyota Highlander. They worked perfectly for car camping! I've had them for almost 5 years now, and they're still in good shape.

Cheap.
The concept of these window coverings is AWESOME, the execution is not so great. It may work for smaller windows, but was really not well suited to my Ford Transit Connect Cargo. I honestly would have returned them if (1) this wasn't the third product I've attempted on my windows over the past few months with little success and (2) I am leaving for my trip before I'd be able to return and try something else. The packaging did NOT come with the adhesive side hook Velcro, so I had to buy some. Where the soft Velcro attaches to the material / bungee was very poorly stitched and I had to repair and reinforce, as every single one ripped off when I tried to install. There is frayed stitching all along the bottom seams.Something that isn't the product's fault, but worth mentioning, is that if you are trying to use this for front windows, it may not fit snugly depending on where your rear view mirrors are located. I will ultimately be cutting a hole and reinforcing with straps in order to be able to connect around the mirror, so that it will allow for a complete seal. Otherwise, bugs can get in underneath.

Great concept, but design needs improvement and better durability
I tried these car shades for a 4 day car camping trip. Here's what worked well - keeping bugs out and providing ventilation - Excellent! Ease of putting on was good too, although I modified the straps into a longer one as I didn't want to attach the adhesive Velcro patches to my vehicle. The shades worked well too, and helped to keep rain out. What didn't work well - Although I had the shades installed correctly, during a rainstorm water somehow saturated the fabric around the window edge and dripped into the vehicle. It wasn't a lot, but caused a damp spot on my mattress. The concept of these is GREAT, but one design flaw is that the storm flap is located on the OUTSIDE of the fabric screen. So this meant that in order to close the storm flap (during a rain storm), we had to zip the screen open, zip up the storm flap, and then zip the screen closed again. It would make much more sense to have the storm flap on the inside of fabric screen. And finally, there is a drawstring that you tighten on the inside of the door to make it fit well to your vehicle. On one of the units, one side of the drawstring came loose (lost its anchor point) within the casing, rendering it useless to tighten. This was on the last day of my trip, but I was disappointed that it only lasted 3 nights. I returned these with no problem, and will try to find a product that has better design.
