Made in USA!It works as it should. I like the thought that has gone into the entire product. The feed handle can be switched to either side of the machine. magnetic mount coolant tank is another added plus.

We have used this to drill about 20 holes in 2 years. Its as new. Switch is now malfunctioning. It appears that switch is no longer available (imagine that) and a new control panel must be purchased for $250. Also when the switch cut out it destroyed a $90 cutter. Switch will not stay engaged no matter how thick the material is. Not happy at all. My 40 year old Milwaukee still works fine but wanted something lighter. Oh well. Not sure its worth fixing considering the cost of parts.

received on 7-18-2016, with no visible damage to cardboard carton, but 'heavy duty' case was dented inside from drill being unrestrained and dropped or banged against something before final packaging and shipment. Received annular cutters and coolant about a week later, and discovered that the plastic reservoir is cracked where the brass bulkhead fitting exits at the corner. This is a crack approximately 1/8 in. long propagating from the hole in the corner of the reservoir where the fitting exits (under the brass fitting). Looks like the fitting was installed too close to the corner and tightening the fitting cracked the reservoir from the feed hole to the radius of the corner. The fact that this is not an isolated problem, as I have talked to others who have had the same problem, speaks badly of the quality control or just bad engineering of this part. Not what I was expecting from a US/German high-end tool manufacturer. Hope they do better warrantying this part.

Very well made mag drill, the only problem I have had is the fluid tank leaked right out of the box. Sealed it with silicone. Works fine now.

As a professional mechanic for the past 27 years I know quality tools & this thing is very high quality. I drilled 24 5/8" holes in a KenWorth frame in a matter of 1&1/2 hours, A job that probably would have taken 1&1/2 days without this mag drill. 100% American made & very well thought out design. The magnet is extremely powerful as long as you clean the surface of loose dirt & rust. Even the plastic case is built extra tough with 4 slide locks to keep it from opening in transit from job to job. The magnet on the coolant tank is nice. They want you to use a paste coolant when drilling on a vertical surface but I just stuck the magnetic coolant tank above the hole on the work piece I was drilling & had no problems with overheating of the cutters. Overall I could not be happier with this purchase.

Amazing quality all usa American madeIt says it can only use up to 1 3/8 dia cutter but a 2.5 inch cutter can fit easily , also it is their new orange color the box had tons of extras like 4 centering pins and 6 replacement set screws it also had a bypass shunt if you want to drill on materials that are thinner (it bypasses the magnetic sesnor) it came with all the tools to completely disassemble and re assemble the drill the only plastic part on this drill is the back lift handle everything else is metal the up and down is flawless very very tight , no play , this is a bad @$s mag drill also comes with a heavy duty case that has a spot for everything and a latch on all sides

The outer box was not damaged but the case the drill is in has been damaged from the factory. We need this drill on the job ASAP or I would send it back.Not sure where quality control was but they sure dropped the ball on this order.

As a welder/fabricator, i've used every brand of annular mag drill made ...and Jancy has always been my fave. When I recently decided to buy my own, I knew that a "real" Jancy at this price point had to be a winner. Design, power, and stunning good looks....this one's got it all. This is the real deal...not a scaled down cheapie. And made in USA! Really! Jancy....there is no substitute. One of the best purchases of my life. Get this one.
