Jansal Valley Medjool Dates, 8 oz

I bought five boxes of these supposedly organic medjool dates. The box says dates expire in September 2020. The dates were old, rotten and smelled bad. Do not buy this brand!!

I order this item but when I received them and opened one container, tasted one date it smelled moldy. I think the dates themselves are good, however, it took too long for me to receive them. The retailer must think about getting the product to the customer as soon as possible. The moisture of the dates and being packed in a container does not allow the product to get air.

Like many others have experienced recently, our container of dates arrived moldy. They were particularly affected on one side of the container but the mold was sprinkled throughout the rest. They were also warm as the weather had changed ... maybe we will give this brand another try during much cooler weather. Figs arrived fine but we will be cautiously checking each one!!! This was so disappointing and returning is too much hassle right now. We were asked to evaluate the dates for "sheerness" ... what's that about?

These missed the mark on all questions above. Paid more than normal price but unfortunately the flavor was bad

It was great to find these dates on Amazon during Covid-19. We love to snack on these nutritious natural treats and were unable to find them anywhere during our quarantine -except here on Amazon. So glad to have them!

Worse dates I’ve ever tasted and texture is way too firm. It’s almost flavorless which isn’t something you’d associate with dates! I don’t need sweet but c’mon!

These are not very fresh and juicy tasting at all. I’m not really impressed.

Product arrived molded and Amazon says not eligible for refund ..
