Works great for short adults in preventing seat belt irritation at the throat!
This seat belt adjuster works wonderfully for adults! I am 5 foot 1 inch and even with my driver's seat belt in the lowest position for vertically challenged individuals, such as myself, I still get a seat belt in the throat. Very annoying. I have lived with this for years and have even resulted in doing the highly risky act of just tucking the chest belt under both of my arms to escape its irritation. Wanting to set a good example for my young girls and safety standards, I decided to purchase this. This has made a HUGE difference with my seat belt. With this installed and sitting just behind the buckle latch mechanism and still resting near my hip and lower abdomen, it allows the belt to cross over my left shoulder and collar bone without cutting across my neck (as it truly should be for safety). The adjuster itself is very comfortable and has a bit of cushion which is nice in preventing the seat belt from digging into you (really nice for postpartum cesarean section moms). I can see this working very well with my girls once we move my oldest to a booster with the shoulder belt as well. Now, the reason for dropping off a star: The narrow end of this adjuster is almost TOO narrow. I had to wrestle with my seat belt buckle to get it to fit all the way through. Forcing it did cause some of the stitching to pull apart. I was not too bothered by this since I am fairly handy with my sewing machine, but this might be a deal breaker for others. I did get it to fit regardless, but pulling it back off will most likely damage the seam further and then I will be forced to re-sew it and keep the larger opening. I do not see this being an issue with booster or car seat buckles as they are MUCH more narrow than my drivers seat belt buckle. For reference, I drive a 2011 GMC Acadia SLT.Overall, I find the comfort this thing provides far too alleviating to rate it any lower but still wanted to provide this insight for other adults that may consider using this on their driver's seat of their vehicle.

This is my second time buying this
The first one I bought, we left in a rental car :( I was so sad! Now that my second child will be going into a booster, i HAD to get another one. These make the belts actually fit our kids. I feel a lot safer not seeing the belt practically going over my kids head. If you move your kids up as soon as they can (to the next seat) like i do, then these are a must have.

This solves the problem beautifully. Love it
Fits so well. Thank goodness for this car seatbeld adjuster. My car seatbeld kept inching upwards around my neck on my new car. Ugggh. This solves the problem beautifully. Love it! Will recommend to friends.Overall, I am thoroughly pleased with the product and plan on continuing my usage. All statements are from my heart and are strictly my own and are from my honest opinion. Based on my experience, with the specific product I have received, I would recommend this product to family and friends. If any information in my initial review changes through the course of time, I intend to update the review to reflect updates. I hope you found my review helpful and I welcome any questions to further assist you.

creates very unsafe belt fit
It is incredibly shameful that this unregulated product claims to be a child safety item. While it can help keep the shoulder belt away from the child's neck, it positions the lap belt too high - it places it on the soft belly instead of over the hips where it needs to be. This positioning on the belly increases the chances of a child submarining and being ejected, or of receiving serious and potentially fatal internal injuries from the lap belt. A child might be more comfortable riding with this adjuster, but their safety will be compromised. Any child who "needs" this product should still be using a booster seat to properly adjust the seat belt.
