When lighting killed my original LNK I replaced it with the newer LNK2
Replace my original LNK (and controller) that was lighting damaged. Because I'm using an older Rain-Bird TM controller I must use the legacy iPhone app which is missing some of the newer features of the most recent version. Still this new LNK2 is a superior WiFi module and I'm glad I picked it. Network connection on it is quicker and signal stronger. It's easy to install and the app steps you through setup. I can control and make setting changes to my sprinkler on my iPhone from anywhere.

This is one of the first things to buy as an add-on for your irrigation system
Easy to follow instructions and pairs with my Rainbird ESP-ME3 with 10 zones. Once you input the location details, it automatically shows you the forecast. With the wifi module, you can control your irrigation system from anywhere in the world. I had it running in less than 5 minutes. This is great as this is being set up at my Summer vacation home and I can manage the watering at my leisure.Must have for anyone with Rainbird water sprinkler system.5 Stars

GAME changer
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I wouldn't be able to control my sprinkler system without this device. It makes my life so much easier and I can actually schedule when my sprinkler system should start and end.

Really smooth install and good app as well
The service which maintains our irrigation system was not especially positive about the earlier version so we took a pass when the system was initially installed. After reading very positive reviews about this newer version, I decided to give it a try.I’m not sure I’ve ever experienced an easier wi-fi based installation. Probably took 5 minutes max. The app is very functional as well.

Needs more power to the WiFi unit for more RANGE! Other than that, everything works GREAT! 💯
It works, but I can't get it to join my home WiFi, it seems like it's too far away from it to work. I did put my WiFi range extender in my garage and it worked though, so all is OK for me, but it can't be more than 50 feet from my normal WiFi access point, and my phone picks up the signal from it right by the RainBird station 5 bars, but it can't even see it. So, I have it connecting to the range extender which is directly inside my garage with it on the outside of the wall, which works, but it also increases the price of then thing by another $70.00. I'm just happy I still have the extender around so I don't need to run out and buy one.

Easy setup. No problems.
Slipped right into the slot. Directions were easy, connected without a hitch. Now I can manipulate my irrigation system from anywhere at anytime. Well worth the expense. Had it about a month with no issues.

Better Than I Had Imagined
Seldom have I had this great an experrience with a product. I recieved it the same day as ordered. it was installed and operative within five minutes. I had previously installed the app, which is far easier to use than the manual method. Now I can check and modify my drip system from anywhere there's wifi service and also check the weather. I no longer have to worry about watering when I travel. This little gizmo is fantastic.
