This is perfect for my 4 lb. Yorkie. He has plenty of room to grow into it. He has room to sleep and stretch out or enjoy the scenery. If you have a small dog you might want to put a pillow at the bottom to prop him up so he/she can look at you or out the window. I'm pretty pleased with this purchase and my puppy feels secure and safe. The structure is very sturdy and the frame doesn't collapse on you while in use. It has nice metal frame and is made well and should last a very very long time. All the extra stuff (collapsible bowl and poopy bags) has come in handy and is a plus. I've done a lot of research and I'm glad I went with this purchase, it's a great value for what you are getting.

There was a problem with the first one I received so I called the company (not Amazon) and they were amazing. They replied to my email with an hour and had a replacement sent to me within the week. Fabulous customer service! I didn't even have to return the defective seat and they included a dog toy with the new one. My dog loves the seat too, it allows her to look out while she is riding in the car which eases her anxiety. I also feel much better knowing she is safely fastened in rather than just lying on the seat next to me. It’s soft and comfy and was very easy to get set up. I highly recommended it!

This is the best thing I could have gotten for my little boy. He loves it sorry I couldn't add pictures, but please take my word for it he is safe and comfortable, he's up high enough to see out. The reason I decided to get him a seat was I had to hit my brakes hard one day and he hit the floor, needless to say I felt so bad. I did a lot of searching and by far this one had everything I wanted for him. Very easy to put together, sturdy, comes with a water bowl, even a dispenser with waste bags. You cannot go wrong with this one.

This is clearly meant for small dogs, but my ‘pocket pit’ likes to stand on the very edge of the seat and tends to slip off, so I thought I’d give it a shot. She’s 38lbs (just a bit bigger than Beagle-sized) and she loves it! Makes me feel a lot better about her safety in the seat and about her not falling if I need to stop quick. Looking forward to using it on long road trips!One star off because one of the tether straps isn’t long enough to fit around my Jeep’s bucket seat, so I just don’t use it. (The back flap that covers the seat. I just tucked it in.) But it’s still very sturdy and doesn’t shift around at all!

All pieces were there. The instructions show the belt separate but they were already attached. Pretty easy to assemble. The outside is a fabric with a plastic coating. There are zipper or Velcro pockets on three side for storage. Was able to attach to front seat as well as rear seat. My dog is a 6lb Chihuahua and she can stand, sit and lay down comfortably. She can't stretch out fully laying down but she semi curls when she lays anyway. Anticipating it will work well for long road trips. Would not put two dogs in.

I ordered the blue and white with the fur around the top, and received the grey print with nothing around the top. I had to buy three dog beds- 2 to lay in the bottom and one to drape over the rim because it’s so firm. I gave the bed to my sister and am buying a padded one instead. It would be fine if you had a very small dog that just slept the whole time. My dog is 16lbs and due to the design it’s too small. The straps are difficult to adjust.

Love this car seat for my yorkie!! She rode 9 hours in this car seat and never complained. It was sturdy enough that she felt secure in it. Has three compartments to store your supplies in, was really easy to install and I would definitely recommend this car seat to anyone looking for a safe way to carry your 4 legged family member in the car!!

This must be the worst product i have bought for my dog so far. This car seat will NOT hold it's shape. The sides claps and all the straps almost choked my dog. I had to duck tape the sides in order to use the seat for few days but the duck tape even came off. I really suggest you don't buy this item. I contacted the seller and requested some credit towards a different type of car seat which they sell but I didn't even hear back from them. The time I purchased this, I was away and ended up having surgery and when I returned, the return time frame had past so I was stuck with this garbage. I wish the sellers had better customer service and would do something about their useless items. Do not buy it. Get something with more stury sides.
