I Turned My Mom Into a Unicorn: A funny thankful story (Ted and Friends)

This is super funny with a heartwarming plot and moral, especially loved the look and find activity! The doodle like art style is also an extra point to the funny-o-meter

My 4 year old nephew LOVES unicorns but it's so hard to find unicorn books that don't feature pink princesses. It's also super cute and a good message. So excited to give this to him at Christmas (along with his new unicorn lamp)!

Purchased this book for my granddaughter who loves unicorns. She is 6 and loves books. Turns out that her 5 year old brother loves this book as well. It’s a cute and silly story of a child who believes their mother is grouchy too often, so he wishes that his mother would turn into a playful unicorn. When his wish comes true, after a day of fun and games, he realizes how much he misses his mother and realizes he wants her back. So happy to have his mother return, he then begins to help with cleaning up after himself, being helpful and being good. He then begins to see the correlation between his actions and his mothers mood as she no longer has to work so hard to get him to be helpful. This results in their having much more fun and him realizing how much he loves his mother. This is a fun quick read with a lesson tucked inside. It’s a great addition to the other Unicorn books in this series.

I really liked this story. I think both parents and kids would enjoy this. Nice artwork, too. My daughter is 3 and she liked it, too.

A cute and fun way to teach children to appreciate what they have with a story about unicorns and giraffes.

I Loved this book. We as parents, or I as a parent, has said, "Be careful what you wish for!". Here it is. Sometimes kids have a bit to much energy for the wrong thing just as Ted. This mommy shows her frustration in always, as Ted puts it, being mad all the time. Mom's can only stretch so far. Towards the end of the book we find out just how, Mommy is mean All the time, she really is. Ted goes to sleep one night and wishes his mom was a unicorn. He wakes to a rainbow and a dream. Mom IS a unicorn. A beautiful one at that. They do things all day together. What they do is up to you to find out. Reading is fun because you get to know if Ted wants his mom to stay a unicorn forever. Good luck on your journey with Ted and remember to give your mommy or daddy a hug. I read it to my daughter and we loved this book. Mommy's and kids can learn from this simple story that relation and gratitude is vital

This is a lovely book! It's rare and great to find a good author who is also such an awesome illustrator. Both the text and the illustrations are very professional, clean and entertaining. I was smiling and laughing on every page with all the cool jokes and funny details. I am sure any kid will be having a great time reading this book. Also, it has a very nice message about how important it is to be thankful for the good things you have in your life. This has everything to be a hit! I recommend it!

One of the best children's books I have read in the recent past. My son wanted it to be re-read at least 4 times today.I also love the emphasis on being thankful. Highly recommend this book!

This is a cute story of a baby giraffe and his mom. Like all kids baby giraffe thinks otherwise when his mom shouted because of the mess he created.While reading the book with my son,, he laughed at many instances and quickly relate himself and said,"His mom is like baby giraffe's mom"I highly recommend this book to all kids for the great lesson at the end of the book and for parents as they will surely relate with the story.

This book is adorable. My kids keep on asking me to read it to them. They love the look and find pages at the back too! The story is funny and also has a good moral - do not take things for granted!
