It does the work and Here is how you use it properly!
So I feel like most of the negative reviews are from people that do NOT know how to use the glue stick, FIRST you will have to heat up your bed and nozzle (I use a glass bed) after your bed and nozzle has been heated up, you want to apply a layer of the glue evenly I usually just apply it all over the bed to cover the whole printing area, after you apply your layer of glue onto the bed you want to start printing RIGHT AWAY, if you let the glue sit there while your bed is heated it will DRY UP and will NOT work, this is why you want to start printing right away once your glue is applied, it has to be somewhat sticky and fresh for it to work properly, and I'm telling you I have done 30+ prints and NONE of them have failed me that first layer sticks it's so smooth and sometimes is really hard to come off once the print is done, I used to have so many adhesion problems on my printer and nothing would stick to the bed now that problem is SOLVED, keeping in mind that your bed is leveled properly and the reason I give it 4 starts is because there is glue for 3D printing and there is Regular glue, this to me just seems to be some cheap glue that you can get from the dollar store but its doing the work and it was cheap, by the way I apply glue on everysingle print and wash my glass bed with soapy water every 3 - 4 prints because the glue does add up onto your bed if you don't clean it, hope these tips help somebody out there and happy printing :).

Still Learning
I've read about all kinds of binding agents (glue, hair spray, tape, rain dance, etc.) but for my lack of experience using these has helped me create some great prints. I still have a lot to learn and need to work on my temps (I'm getting good adhesion, but a bit of flow) so may be a temp issue. Not sure if I can use a name brand white glue stick, but for the price, these fit the bill. Most of my reviews are higher rated because I base what I purchase off of what I need, price, and quality, and not that I purchased the wrong item, or didn't read. I didn't have to reach out to the seller or the vendor, but I would not hesitate to purchase this product again, from either.

leaves a residue on my Textured PEI plates despite hot soapy water scrub.
leaves a residue on my Textured PEI plates despite hot soapy water scrub. Bambu Labs and plain old Amazon glue stick worked as good or better and no lasting bed residue.

Solved my issue
I have a glass plate and within my first 2 or so small prints I was unable to start anything due to lack of adhesion. Every time I print I just scrape some of the glue off while it’s preheating and apply the new glue as it reaches a couple degrees from the target temps. This results in a funny texture on the bottom of my prints sometimes but I’m only printing little trinkets for myself right now so it doesn’t matter. Once it starts to build up after a few layers I take it off and wash it then it’s a lot smoother. I’m unsure if applying immediately before printing gives the best adhesion or not since I’ve never tried it otherwise but I can definitely say if you have a glass bed you should never have issues using this

3/4 were dry
I ordered the 4 pack and they arrived 3/4 of them were dried out. The last time I bought them they were fine but I got a bad batch I guess and didn’t feel like it was worth it to drive to Kohl’s to return glue. Oh well I’ll try a different brand
