Quilted Microfiber Pet Dog Couch Sofa Furniture Protector Cover, Kashi, (Sofa, Black)

The product arrived sooner than expected and was as I expected, having read other reviews. It's attractive, it's soft & comfy, and fits perfectly, although as others have stated, it does slip off. I plan to add Velcro or elastic on top to help with this. Yes, it would be nice to have something like that come with it, but for the price you couldn't even buy a piece of cloth that size. I got it in brown, looks good. The really nice thing, as I bought this to prevent my dog from ruining the couch by scratching around before she lies down, is that she doesn't feel the need to do that much. I don't know if it's the cover or the couch (I didn't bring the couch out of the garage till I had the cover) but so far so good. (I had considered nail covers for her but since she doesn't cooperate well with nail care I opted for this.) The little bit of scratching she did didn't harm anything. And if she does ruin this cover in the future a replacement won't cost as much as replacing a couch.Although it's quilted it is thin, so if potty accidents are your concern you may want to slip a pad or chucks type thing underneath. At least it would be hidden! I washed it before using, it held up in the machine.Since my couch has unattached pillows as the backrest, I may even purchase another to make pillow covers. As I said, it's very reasonable for a large, quilted piece of fabric!I would have given 5 stars if there was a way to secure this to the back of the couch. However, that's an easy adaptation. If I could give another half star I would.ps---my reviews tend to be positive, not because I have any connection with the products but because I read all the reviews before I buy so I can be fairly certain something will work for me. This is a GREAT couch cover. We have three dogs and a cat and a new sofa. This cover protects it wonderfully! There was also a pretty large coffee spill (the big dog's tail knocked a cup off a table and onto the couch) and it didn't go through. Granted, I immediately mopped it up and pulled the cover off...but it DIDN'T GO THROUGH. Because of the shape of our couch and its cushions, I fold the cover in half for double protection just across the seat. It's ALMOST long enough to go armrest to armrest, but this is a couch with a chaise lounge on the end, so the dimensions are a little different. Animal hair brushes off pretty easily. Also, it washes up great and comes out of the dryer with no wrinkles and ready to get back in service. We've had ours since the beginning of April and it shows no signs of wear, and the seams and stitching are holding up well.I liked this so much that I ordered another one, so one can be on and one in the wash. They come in a variety of colors, but of course our favorite is the one closest to DODGER BLUE!

Bought two for my new sectional sofa, I have two wonderful shedding cats, who lay on them all day. I've washed them both several times without any problems, no shrinkage. The only issue, they fall off the backs when you sit, lay, or adjust yourself on them. I have to fix them each time I get off the sofa. I'm surprised that something hasn't been invented to "catch" or "stick" to the backs to give more stability. I would order these again.

There is supposed to be a strap but that is not there just weird flaps that are maybe supposed to be tucked into couch. The cover is thin and similar to a moving blanket with a soft side but half the thickness.

Nicely made. It covers the cushion part and the two arms on our couch. Going over the top, it just isn't wide enough. Luckily our cat only likes to sleep in the center on the top cushions. He also got a little sick on it and it washed off nicely with a damp rag.It is not thick but the quilted pattern and the material on the back side keeps it in place

Well, for one thing, don't believe the people who tell you that pets don't like microfiber - my cats think it is just the perfect thing on which to sleep. I agree with other reviewers that this cover does not stay on the sofa at all. I am constantly readjusting it because it slips and slides all over. It is very lightweight.The black shows cat hair something fierce - not a good color if you're wanting to avoid pet hair from showing up on your furniture.

I bought this for a custom "citisleeper" sofa with built in cabinets on either side. A hard to fit futon style fold out bed that has loose side and back pillows. The futon covers don't cover the loose side & back pillows, but this covered the best I could expect over the futon protector. I am very pleased.

I like the way it looks on the sofa. But it is rather short in width and as soon as you try to sit on it, the back slides right down onto the seat. So I have to agree with other reviewers and would think twice about buying it again. It's a good thing I can sew as I will add fabric to the back and figure a way to keep it better positioned on the sofa.
