This is one of my "holy grails" of makeup, I think this is my 4th tube I've bought. It holds up even when compared to some of the high-end makeup, similar to Buxom mascara and Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes. I absolutely love this mascara - it defines and darkens my lashes and looks very, very natural with no clumping. If you're going for "'no makeup' makeup," I recommend the brown shade (my favorite). It stays on very well without flaking, but is easy to wash off with just soap and water, you don't need any kind of oil-based makeup remover, but don't plan on crying a lot and expecting it to stay on. If you are teary, I also love the black water resistant variety.

This is the best mascara I've found. The description on Amazon didn't give any color information so I took a chance ordering it with the hopes that it would arrive somewhere between brown/black and some shade of black (hoping that I wouldn't get something weird like blue). The mascara came in brown/black which was acceptable. As the name says I never have gloppy or clumpy results. Also, I have sensitive eyes and This mascara doesn't flake into my eyes.

This is definitely my favorite mascara, and I have tried some formulas far more expensive than this one. Ugly packaging, but amazing effects. No clumps, just long, dark, lush lashes. The wand takes a little getting used to, but once you’ve got it, the results are impressive. Turn the wand one way to coat the lashes root to tip, then use it the other way to extend the ends out. Favorite mascara ever!

I already have long lashes, and find that the orange one is overly dramatic, and the yellow one makes me look like I have spider legs on my eyes because it makes them so long. So if you have short lashes, go for the yellow. If you have an event, go for the orange.I don't wear makeup daily, and find that this green one is perfect for my lashes if I'm doing a more neutral look and just want my eyes to pop.

Quickly became my go to mascara a few years ago when I first tried it. I tried so many and always hated the way they looked. I use the brown for work or everyday makeup, when I'm just wearing natural, low key makeup. I have not tried any of the darker colors; I'll use a different brand when I'm going for more dramatic eye makeup, like for night events.All in all, this mascara is just good for everyday makeup. It lengthens my lashes without looking like too much. It gives them just the right amount of color. I have light brown hair and tiny eyes, so anything black looks like I'm wearing too much during the day.My favorite thing about the mascara is probably the applicator; it really does help get rid of clumps. I'm not the best at applying makeup, and without mascara, I have the most uncurly lashes ever! The applicator really seems to help keep the curl (I always use a eyelash curler before mascara) and it makes application a breeze.

As an aging, fading, but true blonde, I need BROWN mascara--brown/black or black looks much too severe. I am lucky, still have long lashes and I don't need to use the eyelash curler with this mascara, it works so beautifully. I do not do more than one layer but do add more to the corners as someone recommended. It doesn't clump for me with just the one layer. I didn't have as good of luck when I did try to add further layers. I do not apply a second coat later in the day. Perhaps if I was still working or dating I would but since retirement I do things more minimally. GET the washable mascara if you want to wash it off in a JIFF! This stuff comes right off, however, I do use a light facial scrub.

I like this mascara and have purchased variations of it many times. Doesn’t clump, doesn’t require lots of careful, slow application. Taking off one star since I’m concerned about how old the product is that came with the last shipment. All past packaging was bright green, like the package on the left (the one on the left is a slightly different version of the same product but I know the identical product was in the same green package). The black package on the right is what I received with my last shipment. It looks like old packaging and was slightly beaten up. Might be ok but I’m suspicious.

I used this mascara for years and then switched to another brand which gave me thicker lashes while still looking natural. I preferred that look, but recently learned that the other brand is not actually cruelty free, so I switched back to this one. My lashes tend to be a little spikier than I prefer with this, but it's still a nice mascara for everyday wear. Not too dramatic, but you can layer it to get a fuller look if you want.
