Gardman7248 Nature Trellis, 5' High

I really like this item. When I ordered it (actually I ordered two of them) I was concerned because I had read some reviews reporting that some of the ornamental birds and leaves had broken in shipping. But mine arrived with everything intact. The bubble wrap surrounding the product was not easy to get off, and I had to be careful not to break any leaves of birds off. It took me awhile, ably abetted by a small pen knife and a scissors. The irony is that it took me almost 30 minutes to unwrap two of them, and 2 minutes to install them. But they look great. Very happy with the design and quality

Beautiful trellis with an aged brown finish. Lightweight but sturdy. Purchased one for a mandevilla. Bought 2 more for morning glory and to add height and dimension to my garden. Will buy 2 to 4 more. Very easy to position in place. Looks gorgeous on its own--just for style. Takes 2-4 weeks for delivery, but definitely worth the wait.

The seller did not disclose before purchase that the trellis is coated in lead.

This trellis is cute. The front of my house is half brick, half vinyl siding. The color of this trellis (beigey brown) blends in with the brick rather than standing out. I think I'll spray paint it black. I should have paid closer attention to the details, that was my fault. It's a nice piece, rather on the small size at 5 ft vs 8 ft. I think for my front yard, I should have gotten a taller and darker iron piece. I think I will move this to somewhere else on my lawn (garden maybe) and order a larger trellis. This trellis is nice, but not the look I was after.

Really liked this trellis so much, i decided to order another one. I feel the price is good, too. , and it is fairly heavy-weight. The finish (bronze) is good, but since i happened to have a can of Rustoleum Bronze/Gold spray paint, i took opportunity to spray it in some places to "highlight" the birds and leaves a bit more. Look forward to having this many years... it's good quality. I like the height , too.

I purchased this for a climbing rose and it is just beautiful. I shopped for these early in the season and the prices were outrageous. I was very happy to see this one on Amazon and the price was right at less than half of the garden supply stores. It's hard to see in the picture, but there are little birds among the leaves and curls. It is very nice looking and I would use it as a garden accent even if I did not need it for my rosebush. Moreover it arrived well packed and ontime.

I bought one of these last year for a clematis. It is a nice trellis. The decoration is pretty on its own so I can leave it out through the winter when it is bare. The vine has grown like crazy so I ordered a second one to sit right next to the original one to take up some of the vine. The packaging has changed and it took me over 30 minutes with my scissors and box cutter to cut away the bubble wrap! The problem is that the back of the bubble wrap has glue on it, so when they pressed the two sides of the bubble wrap together to protect both sides of the trellis, the bubble wrap ended up TIGHTLY stuck to itself all around the outer 3 inches and on the legs, so you have to cut the bubble wrap (my scissors stopped working because of the sticky glue, so I had to get out a box cutter) and then free each of the individual leaves by trying to pry the bubble wrap apart (see photos) without bending the leaves and stems... so you end up with lots of small sections of bubble wrap! If I had not specifically needed a matching trellis, about 10 minutes into the process, when I realized what I was going to have to do to "free" the trellis, I would have sent it back. I am sure that there are places where I nicked the trellis coating with the box cutter and it will now start to rust prematurely. PLease stop using the glue with the bubble wrap. The tape on the sides would have been sufficient!

The trellis arrived today in great condition and none of the bubble wrap nightmare that some of the people have had trouble with. It's very pretty and sturdy. Didn't fit in my pot which was 16" because I didn't take into account the slope of the pot so I put it behind and it looks great.

This trellis is beautiful - I bought 3 of them for my veggie garden. Now I learn that they contain LEAD and CADMIUM, known to cause cancer and birth defects. This warning is in very fine print on the back of the label, which I did not notice until I had peas and beans growing on them. Now I have to remove them from my containers and discard my plants and soil. The plants and all of the work is wasted. DO NOT BUY for food related plants!

It’s not heavy so probably not good quality but for the price what do you expect. It arrived well and looks lovely. I put it in the garden and it’s doing the job of supporting my jasmine so I would recommend!
