First Impression Blows Me Away
This is pedal has some really cool features that I have not seen in other high end equipment.I originally got this for a headphone amp and that part works really well. It's not one of those pedals that can blow your speakers out if you accidentally turn the wrong knob. It's very subtle and does not overwhelm my amp. It reminds me of the Behringer DI but with more bells and better build quality.I haven't tried the D.I. output yet but it says it can be powered by the phantom power... that would eliminate additional sources of noise. Why isn't everyone designing this into their machines?Cons:I wish it had easier battery access. In fact, I didn't even know you could run it off a battery until I read the instructions. This won't be an issue if this unit is not power hungry.I recommend for beginners and poor folks.I would definitely buy this unit again.

It meets my needs
I used this pedal last night at a gig. We ran it straight into the PA, no amps. It worked well, no extra noises or setup issues. The case is nice and heavy so it stayed put where I set it. At home I plugged my phone into the line in and used headphones. That was pretty good for practicing. Turning up the volume doesn’t effect the line in which is helpful, you can turn up the bass without increasing the over all volume. The only issue I have so far is that stomp buttons. They seem too lose to me and pop when you stomp them. Which is why it got 4 stars. I’m not familiar with other similar pedals but if you are looking for this type of pedal, I don’t think you can go wrong if it meets your needs

Decent preamp for a shockingly low price
For the price it's very serviceable. Does it compare to a Dark Glass, Nordstrand or MXR preamp? Nope but it's decent enough to find a use. The EQ is not.very musical, the DI ads a lot of color from the Mic out. Still, I would for sure buy this again.

This works great.
Even if you paid double for this it would be worth it. It has all the options I need. I have this, a tuner pedal and a volume/Wah pedal in my chain. Works great. Alt in and headphone jack are nice features for practice without waking up the rest of the house. Plus the DI. Lot of bang for little coin.
