I am a real estate broker. I bought this book for my Library. So my agents have something to read. I read it first to make sure it was accurate. This book is spot on. You can learn so much from somebody else’s experiences.

This book makes commercial real estate easy for the novice in the profession. It can be used as a great reference book for anyone entering into this profression.

Good information. The authors presented the material in normal person language with good explications. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking to get involved in commercial real estate.

Keep in mind the title. If you're looking for a lot of in depth info this is not the book. But if you want some basic overview of real estate investing, this is a good place to start. It pretty much starts with the idea, you don't know jack (I didn't) and lays out the basics. When I finished I bought more books to go a little deeper. This will give you an idea of what you need to know and which way to go to learn. Good value for the money ... but it's just a start if you're serious about this field. There is some very good advice in the book about getting help.

Great book, you'll have all the important info to start investing with a successful plan. This is the best real estate investing book out!

Good informative book. It giving me the why's of doing things. With this overall basic knowledge I'm getting a good understanding of commercial real estate.

The book was well organized and easy to read and understand but it has limited and or questionable value for a Canadian as every thing is based on how things work in the US. Although somethings are the same. many aren't especially around taxes and Financing and in many cases I wasn't sure if what the book indicated was valid in Canada. When you buy a book in Canada it should be wriiten for Canadians or at least clearly state on the cover that it is for Commercial Real estate investing for US residents as even for a Canadian looking to invest South of the border a lot of the info is not valid.

All the basics of the industry in one book. First hand reference to understand the main drivers of the industry
