Don’t believe the lies !
The media could not be loaded. I read so many reviews on this before I night . Some were very negative but I went for it anyway considering how great the standard controller is. I must say I am so glad I bought this. Been using it for a while now and honestly the quality is amazing. I love the customisation options it’s has to make the stick more responsive and the trigger buttons especially for games like SF6. I would highly recommend to any gamer out there looking for a perfect controller. Very happy with my purchase and I disagree with all the negative responses on this product it’s absolutely the. Way controller I have ever used 100%!!

great purchase 100% recommend
Love this controller. Great quality materials used. This comes with all accessory you will ever need and more. charging dock works great sat on my desk and even better in the travel case. The use of magnets is great as everything snaps into place with ease. I would recommend this to everyone looking for a xbox controller. worth the investment as this is a buy once product.

My thoughts on the elite controller compared to a standard one
Great level of customisation. Very ergonomic and comfortable to use. The back paddles take a bit of getting used to as I have used standard Xbox controllers since I first got one in 2014. Yet to sync it with my PC, but syncing with my Xbox was easy. The accessories it comes with are also handy, and buying it as a whole package instead the "core" version was convenient.

DON'T BUY THESE
I've had two of these controllers; the first one started to break after 18 months and I complained considering the price of the product. Amazon sent me a free replacement (I was insured). The second controller, almost precisely 18 months later, had a similar fault. When you're playing games like Elden Ring, Sekiro and Black Myth Wukong, you'll end up throwing these out because they're utter rubbish. I thought it was just me at first, and then I see streamers who complain about these controllers as well,.Here's what you need to know:First, the positive: Great general feel, nice and weighty with decent grips. And the negative:Now, bare in mind I've had two of these controllers and both have the exact same issues within the same timeframe...The XYAB buttons will start to get sticky after a week or so of use. But then after more use they'll go back to normal. It's as if there's something under the buttons which degrades very quickly over time, and then wears off completely, leaving you with normal buttons but wondering what it was underneath them causing the problems. If you're playing a fighting game such as Street Fighter or Tekken with these, you're going to get frustrated.Secondly, and most importantly, the RB and LB buttons will stop working over time. On my first controller I had the LB literally stop working. In the end I figured out If I were to press it down quite hard it would respond, otherwise pressing the button down (even with the kinetic feedback of a click) normally wouldn't work. After a week or so of this I decided to complain and was given a new controller...The same issues with second controller as the first, from the sticker XYAB buttons right down to the RB button not working. This time, the button just simply wouldn't click. If you pressed it, it would go down but if felt very sticky. I bought and used isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) for this, and applied it with a cotton bud through the gaps to see if it would loosen any of the mechanisms or springs behind the RB button to get it to work again but no luck. Eventually I realised what I think the actual problem is with these controllers:The RT/LT triggers have a physical setting where you can change how far down they go. So they can replicate hair triggers or just normal deep triggers. I found that over time, using the deepest trigger setting, these would eventually wear out the buttons above them (LB & RB). I think there's some sort of spring or obstruction in the controller that you can adjust to adjust the trigger's depth, but doing so can cause the obstruction to get in the way of the LB/RB buttons. So, now I'm left with two of these Xbox "elite" controllers. One with a faulty LB, and one with a faulty RB.DON'T BUY THESE CONTROLLERS.

Fantastic for competitive games, but watch out for slight stick drift
The Elite Series 2 controller is a fantastic tool for fast-paced FPS titles. The back paddles make complex combos seamless without ever taking your thumbs off the sticks, and the adjustable trigger stops are a huge win for quicker firing response times.Built-in profile switching is incredibly handy—I can jump from competitive shooters to story-driven games or racers in seconds. Plus, the ability to tweak dead zones so precisely means movement and aim feel sharp and responsive (though more on that below). The build feels premium: perfect weight, grippy textured handles, and a charging carry case that’s as sleek as it is practical. Everything feels solid and intentional—except for one key issue.Even fresh out of the box, I noticed minor stick drift. It’s slight, but enough that I had to bump up the dead zone for FPS games, which can dull precision just a bit. This seems to be a common problem, and for the price, it’s disappointing. The Xbox Accessories app adds another layer of customization that really elevates this controller. You can fine-tune the joystick response curve for more precision, adjust trigger sensitivity so they activate with just the right amount of pressure, and remap buttons and paddles exactly how you like. It’s a powerful tool that lets you shape the controller around your play style.Still, this is easily the best controller I’ve used for performance and comfort. Just be aware of the potential for drift.
