Thomastik-Infeld Infeld Red Violin Single A-String - 4/4 Scale - No. IR02

These strings are awesome. What a difference quality strings made in my fiddle. The only thing negative I will say is they are fragile if you dont keep your fingernails tucked in the back of your fingers which is why I ordered this replacement string.. This is probably my fault but they do seem a bit fragile. That aside they are wonderful strings. Fabulous sound. I love them.

My luthier put Infield blues on my violin and for some reason the A string just didn't match so I ordered the A string in Infield Red. It fixed the tonal difference and sounded very good but I opened my case to find it broken after just two months. Perhaps it was old stock or just defective.

Worked perfectly, sweet and mellow

This fills a gap in the other strings available, for me. I like the warm quality yet bright tone, which bridges between the warm D and bright E.
