Despite many glowing reviews for this controller I can not recommend purchasing it. At this point I wish I’d have spent the extra twenty something bucks for the PS controller because in saving money I bought a poor replacement.The controller frequently “disconnects” and requires a system reboot in order to reconnect it. Often that does not solve the problem and you have to leave the controller “on” until the battery runs out in order to get it to reconnect to the system.It frequently fails when trying to type with it, about 50% of the time. While the controller “feels” better I hand than the original PS controller the routine failure of the device makes it a poor substitute to the PS controller. Do NOT purchase this.

So almost everything works great until you need to type something. For some reason, I can only type with the touchpad. I would be okay with this if you could turn off the touchpad, but you cannot.Update: So I restarted my ps4 and the touchpad worked fine. Later on though as I was playing a game, the controller disconnected and I couldn't turn it off. Also, I have to wiggle my microphone into the input jack before anyone can hear me.I will say this though, I really like the build quality. It feels better than the actual PS4 controller. It's unfortunate it has these technical issues. Maybe others will have a better experience than me.

I have been looking for a remote to replace my old damaged one and this one was great. Affordable and more sturdy than the oem version. You must sync it with the cable provided the first time you use it on a new device . Afterwards it will charge with any micro usb cable. Will definitely buy a second one.

I've had these for a couple of months now and I DO NOT recommend that you buy these. I ordered 2 controllers and one of them DIDNT EVEN WORK. I had to go through the hassle of sending one controller back and waiting for another one to come. As someone that doesn't really have much money to spare I wanted to buy these controllers so I could play video games with my younger siblings. However, the build quality is just terrible on these, it is also squeaky and that's just really annoying. The L2 and R2 buttons are terrible, the response sucks and there is a really noticeable lag when playing. Battery life also sucks. You are better off just getting wired controllers honestly. If you read this review I hope that you do the right thing and choose a different controller to buy. Good luck and stay safe people.

I bought this for my sister. She is a big fan of PS. Our original controller was broken and I didn't want to pay so much. I found this product on amazon. We just connected it with USB cable for a while. we disconnected the cable. It worked as bluetooth device. Great purchase.

I needed a reliable alternative to OEM controllers for adding a third player for NHL. This does the trick. It's well-built with high-quality plastics and comfortable grips. Battery life is better than the Sony models. Sticks feel responsive and springy, and the buttons are all responsive. Pairing was super easy with the included USB cable. I'm sometimes leery about hird -party controllers but this gets used more than my Sony brand controllers.

It actually works pretty well. Just one problem tho. For some unknown reason it will vibrate violently but stays connected. When this happens you DO NOT power down your system. It will still vibrate lmao.In order for this to stop and be operable again notice the attached pic's. There are 3 holes. The 2nd hole on the left is the one we concentrate on. You can use a jeweler's screwdriver, toothpick or paper clip. Anything small enough to go in that hole. It doesn't take much pressure. It will stop vibrating and then turn the controller back on. I'll give it 4/5 stars but it's a great buy. That random vibration through me off lol....fix it☺

This is a replacement for the orange version I bought before. This one is working good so far. But we shall see if I have the same problems later. The previous one I bought stopped connecting a few days after warranty expired.
