I decided to try something different than old grocery bags when my hand went straight thru one into a nice very large steaming pile of poo about two miles from home on a walk. I have semi long nails and they sliced right through the bag. This has happened on more than one occasion so I decided to try these wonderful poo bags. They shipped fast and were on my doorstep in two days. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the bag and found the size was large enough for a pile of poo from my 140lb dog (who does have quite the pile I must say). Now it was time for the true test...I took my sharp nails and slammed them in the bottom of a bag. It took 4 times to break thru. SOLD!!! I have been using them now for a few months and have not had ONE defective bag. I am very pleased with them and the fact they are earth friendly is a wonderful bonus. Ok, it is now almost one year later. I decided to edit my review. I still stand by my 5 star rating after all this time. I still have one roll of bags left of the 16 I ordered a year ago, well worth the purchase. I did have a few defective bags but not enough to even sway my rating. I mean four or five defective bags in a years use is amazing to me. When I say defective I don't mean it was weak and my hand went thru it, it means two were cut wrong and three were not melted on the bottom to make a bag. I have suggested these bags to many of my dog walking friends and now we all use them. Not a complaint heard. In fact everyone boosts about how well they work and give me thanks for introducing them to this product. To all who make it thru my very long review, I really do stand behind my 5 star rating and suggest you give them a try. Well worth the money and last a very long time

I am giving these a five because they are amazing compared to other poo bags I've used. On too many occasions I've had other bags rip because I dropped them or when I've tried to separate them from other bags. Some have ripped straight down the side, so that instead of a bag, I have a sheet of plastic. Other bags I've purchased have been too small to pick up everything without feeling confident about avoiding a poo-tastrophe.Not these bags! These are thick and durable (I never have to double bag), large enough to know that I can confidently pick up everything, AND they're easy to separate. Not to mention that they're more eco-friendly and they come with the leash dispenser!My two criticisms are minor ones. First, the sticker that keeps them rolled up is difficult to remove, and often times I end up ripping a hole the first bag (because I'm impatient), rendering it useless (At least to me. I'm sure some people are still brave enough to use it because the rip is closer to the top, but not me, I've had too many misfortunes with cleanup using other bags).My second criticism would be more of a suggestion. The bags are so thick that it's hard to tell how many are left on a roll. I've been down to the last bag a few times without realizing it until it was too late (I always like to have extras on a walk just in case). It'd be helpful if there was a way to indict that the roll is down to the second or third to last bag, so that you know to bring a refill or a few extra loose bags.Overall, amazing product!

easy to unroll

It says biodegradable on the website but no mention on the box itself! That seems strange given it refers to Unscented, water resistant, easy tear-off, compact roll and fits all dispensers. Have things changed??

I really like that we are using bags that won’t just sit for years and years in a landfill. The fact that they are biodegradable, allowing the contents to turn into compost instead, is at least a small way we can try and help reduce our impact. We have small dogs so my first order lasted us over a year. We could use one bag for 2 days for both of them which saves us a little $$$ too.

I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but I have yet to find better doggie bags than these! They are sturdy, large, and good quality. "Earth Friendly" is an excellent bonus (though how earth friendly can plastic be, really...) Anyways, I have not found a better quality product, let alone at such a good price, than with these. The dispenser is also convenient - I just attach it to the leash and I'm prepared for cleaning up my dog anywhere, and its like you get it for free. My dog goes through about one roll/week (more or less), so having plenty of refills is a must. I can buy poop bags at the dollar store (4 for $1) but they are cheap and thin. This is a lot of bags for a good price. Worth the $10. Your neighbors won't complain either.

I love these poop bags! The quality is much better then these black bags that I was previously using. It’s bigger & thicker too. Have no issues ripping off the roller like the previous brand. I always had difficulty & would rip off uneven which pissed me off all the time. Also holds the smell better too. No more smelling poop while walking back to dump in trash. A pet product I’m finally satisfied with! The bone dispenser is a plus! Yes I highly recommend to try this out. Won’t be disappointed! I’m happy & so is my pooper Sammy.

Don't bother shopping for any other bag than this one! Fabulous quality. I have gone through so many brands of poop bags in the past 5 years and THIS ONE is the ultimate find. It's great that it's eco-friendly and NON-scented; it's a heavier grade material than the typical bags and the best part? You can't smell anything through the bag! Honestly, there are some bags out here that are so damn thin and chintzy that you can SEE the poop AND smell it, no matter how tightly you knot it! NOT THIS BRAND! FABULOUS. I have bought this brand in pet stores for TWICE the price. I can't believe how discounted this product is! Thanks!
