I like that I could trim these magnetic sheets to fit my rectangular boxes on my garage door. I looked at pictures of real garage doors with windows to see that the outside and inner mullion widths needed to be the same. For my garage door, I did not need to trim the longer dimension of these rectangular sheets at all. I only had to trim the shorter dimension to make it work for me. Put them on your door to get an idea if and where trimming will be needed. Since I had only one shot at this, (as I needed all of them), I first cut sample rectangles out of black construction paper to tape up and "play" with as I determined my preferred sizing. I tried many variations, taking pictures of each set, until I was happy with one set. Once I had a size I liked, I measured them (in mm, not inches, as it was more accurate). Then I figured out how much I needed to trim off each magnetic sheet. I was trimming more off than the width of my mullions would be, so I decided to make some magnetic spacers to make installing these easier. If this is true for you, I suggest trimming a few pieces of the mullion widths 1st (from what would be the waste scrap) from some of them, to use as spacers when installing the rectangles. (It's easier to trim a little off a bigger piece and keep it even.) Then, cut all the magnetic rectangles to the proper size. (see pictures.) I marked the finished size in pencil on my paper cutter, which made duplicating the cuts easy and uniform. The cottage "hardware" you see on my garage door is also magnetic. (It's not included with these rectangular sheets.) I've had this up for over a year with no issues at all, which is why I ordered these faux windows. I love the updated look from a plain garage door to this. It doesn't scream "look at me" like painting it an odd color would, but as my garage door faces the front of my home, I wanted it to look nice, but didn't want real glass in my garage door for security and the fact that we get frequent hail storms.

This is practically a normal magnet but it gets the job done and makes a clean garage door look like 1 million bucks for only a few bucks so many squares I need a new garage door to you soon

I did rate high for the quality of product, ease of use.However they did not work on my garage door.My garage door is not a smooth surface causing the magnets not to stick.Don't recommend for non smooth surfaces.

I love these magnets. They completely changed my garage. Not sure how they'll hold up to a harsh winter though, so I may just use them seasonally.

They are easily put on the garage but they really don’t look good. I bought these to enhance the look of the garage. I had recently done a painted wood look finish on the garage. The paint finish looks very nice and these magnet fake windows made the garage look bad. I removed them and won’t use them.

These magnets are easy to install and look so authentic! So glad I ordered them! They make such a difference in the look of our door.

Magnet was strong enough for my garage door. Looks like I have windows. Really dresses up the door!
