The negative reviews were right
I bought this item knowing that it wasn't going to be the best quality. I mean I have an actual officially licensed Friday The 13th mask on my wall and I payed way more than the price of this one. So I wasn't expecting the world of this product at a fraction of the price. In fact my whole plan was to basically deconstruct it and cut it in half the moment I received it. The mask feels sturdy but the air holes do still have plastic in them that I will need to clean out. The paint is a bit shoddy but I plan on redoing the whole thing anyway. My biggest issue was that ,as many reviews stated, the eye holes are not configured for an adult head. They are about an inch or two too low and I am not sure how I am going to fix it. Yes, an adult can wear it "as is" but your chin will more than likely be visible under the mask. If you are wanting this for a wall hanger then it might work but you probably should figure on redoing the paint. For all that trouble you are better off just buying a white one and painting it yourself or better yet pay more for a better version. Long story short; if you are expecting high quality then look elsewhere.

Get a different mask if you want something with quality
Very cheap item. The red accents were messy and crooked. The plastic wasn't smooth in all areas and some of the holes in the mask had plastic in them/weren't clearly cut. I would spend more to get a better mask.

Quality mask, Low price
Bought this for Halloween, and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the mask. this fits well and won't fall apart after a couple of parties.
