Ferrari Maserati of Washington 3 BG Advanced Formula MOA 115

2018 Dodge Mopar 392 6.4L V8 Hemi SRT engine. Started getting the dreadful HEMI tick around 45,000 miles. I dropped the straight Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0W40 and went with Mobile One full synthetic from Sam's Club (for cost savings) and added a bottle of BG MOA 115 oil conditioner here. No more HEMI tick. Been running clean and tick free now for 20,000 miles and 3 oil changes. I credit the BG product. Ultra Platinum is great oil, just like Mobile One. I just cant fathom spending big bucks for both. Any good 0W40 full synthetic with the BG MOA 115 should see similar results. TIP: Don't idle HEMI engines long. Start em up and drive them, like their meant to be!

I am an automotive professional and have sat through many snake oil sales people shucking their goods. BG is a standout as a quality product that does what it says it will do.

As always I am doubtful of products like this. My mechanic uses it in a lot of vehicles so I figured I would give it a try. Had a check engine light on my 2012 F150, turns out it was a variable value timing solenoid. We gave this a shot and tuned off the light after an oil change. 2500 miles in and light is still off. This stuff works and cleans up the sludge build up in the engine. Once I hit 5000 miles, I will do another oil change and add another can. Its a lot cheaper then having to take the valve covers off to replaces the solenoids.

My car mechanic swears by this, I put it in both of my vehicles at every oil change. I haven’t had any problems but who knows if this is the reason why. I figure for the cost of major repairs this is a cheap insurance.
