Great product, has a slight smell but works great to get your hair healthy and growing. I use this once or twice a week on my roots and on my ends lighty almost daily. Well worth the money and a good size bottle that last a while. You don’t need a ton of the product in your hair to see results!

I have a lot of hair fallout. Part of it is hormones, but I also have a super dry scalp (which might be hormonal too). I can't really add to many oils to nourish my hair AFTER I shower because it's so thin, and once I wash all the oils go down the drain. It's really a frustrating conundrum. I started rubbing the oil into my scalp before showering (which is when I track my hairloss because it's easier to quantify based on how much gets stuck in the drain). I noticed I DEFINITELY see less hair in the drain. My scalp is so healthy-looking, less itchy and not flaky after shampooing and conditioning..but also not greasy or anything. My hair looks SO nice when it dries, I haven't had my hair be this shiny and smooth in a long time, I'm super happy.I'm not sure if it stimulates hair growth. It does seem to prevent it. But I know castor oil help s with my hair growth, so I'm in the process of trying out a mix to see how the combination goes.

I was sort of scared to order from this company because I never have before. Sometimes using amazon is risky but I needed it last minute for my trip and decided to try it out anyways. The Bontanical Beauty company is great - very professional and I don't worry about the authenticity because it smells exactly like evening primrose oil is supposed to. I love that the bottle was well package AND fully sealed so I know it wasn't tampered with. Since I use this on my face im always a little bit paranoid. But this was exactly as promised.I have been using evening primrose oil on my skin for quite some time... it's thick and keeps me hydrated. Some might not love the odor but its not overwhelming and it's worth not breaking out to me! I use it as a moisturizer at bedtime. I compared prices before ordered and this was on the cheaper end so for that reason alone and the fact its as advertised, ill be repurchasing in the future.

After having two kids in two years and taking no care for myself I decided that I was going to change that. I of course suffered from some melasma or skin darkening from my lovely pregnancies and sun in general so i needed products that were great for aging and skin lightening. I did tons of research and attempted to find the best products that were effective but also would not break the bank. I came upon this company and fell in love with their quality and price point. After only using this product for a few short weeks I was amazed the progress my skin had made for not being as prescription skin product. I will continue to use this product and cant recommend it enough even if you also have a script. However I will say it doesnt bother me but has a weird smell my husband compares it to raw meat lol but i am unphased.

My doctor recommended this to help get my body ready for labor. He said it would help prevent tearing. I used it daily for 2 weeks before giving birth by emergency c-section so I didn’t get to see if it actually prevented tearing. It’s got a weird smell- like chicken grease. It’s an oil so it’s kinda messy and heard to apply in the area I needed it. I didn’t try it on my hair or skin because of the smell.

I appreciate the moisture for dry skin. Be careful putting too much near smile lines, as I have had a pimple from doing that. I put it on face/forehead and my neck most days of the week. (I have also added avocado's to my diet to balance the hormones....

I'm trying to find solution to my dry, itchy winter skin. I read an article on-line by a dermatologist who highly recommended cold pressed primrose oil, something I had never heard of before. This doctor also said pairing the oil with shea butter was just about the perfect gentle skin moisturizer, so I ordered both and made my own body lotion. Just a few drops in my palm with a little water and my skin just drinks this up. After my shower I add the oil to my butter and it makes a very gentle skin calming remedy.

If the oil smells bad and feels heavy and greasy on the face either it's Poor Quality or It's Rancid. I added Frankincense essential oil to give it another go but it still smelled and felt wrong. I couldn't send it back because of trying to make the smell bearable! I'm very familiar with different oils, when it's Funky you know it!
