I bought this to use in our RV. We prefer to use electric appliances rather than use our propane. This works well. I was able to make a small pot of chili for the two of us. Before I had this, I used to make it in our large electric skillet, which is overkill. This is easy to clean and doesn't take up a lot of space. I would think this would work well in a dorm room, if allowed or even if you are living/traveling in a car or van and you have a power station to plug it into. It would work well for warming soup or making ramen. I'm glad I got it. It makes me want an even larger one.

I have used this pot for the last 8 months and it has been so consistent. On the highest setting, it can boil water in about 2 minutes. I've used it to make full meals in hotel rooms for months and I've never had a problem. The power cable is an IEC cable, which means that if it gets lost it's easily replaced. The cable also disconnects, making it easier to clean in the sink.Word to the wise: when they say NO METAL, they mean NO METAL. I used a fork once to grab my meal and scratched the pot instantly. I haven't used metal since and I've aquired no new scratches.

I’ve been using this hot pot for about 6 months and it has been great. It heats water fast, which is perfect for making ramen, and the steamer basket makes it really easy to cook vegetables quickly.I love how portable it is and that the outside doesn’t get too hot to the touch. I’ve even brought it to work a few times to make fresh lunches right at my desk. Cleaning is also simple, which is always a plus.The only minor issue is that the top cover doesn’t fit as snugly as I’d like, so I have to be careful it doesn’t fall off when I move it around.Overall, I highly recommend this if you want an easy and versatile way to make quick meals at home or on the go.

Got this because after having a stroke it’s hard to use both hands. Plus it heats up very quickly and doesn’t take long to do potatoes or pasta. I also use it to make the mix when you’re making no bake cookies. I am so happy that I bought this. Easy to use and store And doesn’t heat up on the outside. Got one for my daughter. She loves her too. Some people said it wasn’t very stable but I have had no trouble with it tipping or moving since I’ve been using it. I really love it and so glad that I bought it.

Okay i got to start this saying..This pad is work great.Design is great and as a truck driver this work for me..But after using it for about two and half months..Is going bad.. the bottom of the pad is going bad and that is not a good sign....I don't use metal scrape.. I use plastic

We bought this a while ago and barely used it. We have recently found ourselves in a situation where we needed a make shift kitchen and pulled this out to use. Holy moly, it cooks *fast* and efficiently. Have some water you need to boil? Done. Some eggs you want to scramble? Done. It cleans up very well, cooks up very well, and still looks cute. Pretty sure once we get our remodel finished we will find ourselves using this a lot more than we would have expected.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love it do the work for what I want it, I don’t know if is good or bad that is super light weight seems like is not durable this is my replacement cause the first one at first use the cover glass just pop up in million pieces when I was use it was super scary but I give it another chance and this one work for more than a year now so I’m happy

This pit is great! Easy to use on small counter space. I’ve used it all week during hotel vacation stay and have cooked breakfasts, lunch and dinners with it. Quickly boils water for pasta or rice, can sauté meats and toast bagels!A great way to save money and feed picky eaters!
