Superb. Hands down worth buying all three sizes-I wear the 1 1/2 for top, and this 2.75 size to sweep up sides or the 3in instead. All very versatile, chic and useful in hot Florida climate to get my fine but abundant hair off my face without wearing a headband. Stays all day. I can see I'll be buying more of these and wearing for rest of my life. My hairdo is short, but any length good. Excellent quality.

Camila Paris is a well-regarded brand, especially known for its French-made hair accessories, so I had high expectations for these tortoise shell side combs.The combs have a lovely tortoise shell design that gives them a classic, elegant look. For casual or light activities, they hold hair securely and look great as a stylish accessory. These combs are lightweight, which makes them comfortable to wear for extended periods. Unlike some heavier combs that can dig into the scalp or cause discomfort, these are gentle, making them suitable for those who want a secure hold without the added weight.Unfortunately, the hold isn’t as strong as I expected, especially for someone with thin hair or during more physically demanding tasks (e.g., jogging, working at the dock). While the combs work fine for sitting or light movement, they tended to slip out when I was engaged in active tasks. If you have fine hair or plan on using these during activities that involve a lot of movement, they may not provide the grip you need. Due to the looser grip, I found myself needing to readjust these combs multiple times throughout the day. While they are beautiful, the inconvenience of constantly repositioning them was a downside. They might be better suited for short periods or specific styles that don’t require a lot of support.These Camila Paris French side combs are stylish and comfortable, making them a good choice for light, decorative use. However, they don’t provide the firm hold needed for more active situations or for those with fine hair. While I appreciate the craftsmanship, I ultimately had to return them as they didn’t meet my needs for a secure, all-day hold. If you’re looking for a delicate, elegant hair accessory and don’t need a strong grip, these might be worth trying.

Color is beautiful and comb is flexible while retaining strength. Only complaint: it would be helpful for hold if teeth were just a little longer in length.

There's nothing wrong with them except the overblown description and price. They were smaller than I had expected, but what was really surprising was, they don't look or feel any different from the cheapo plastic hair combs of 80s and 90s days. Why the description makes them seem like they're special or made of something special, I can't fathom. PT Barnum laughs in his grave, another sucker bought something for more than it was worth.
