I gave this as a gift to my son, we all liked it and thought it was beautiful. HOWEVER, the first time he charged it, it started smoking out of the wooden base and burnt the table it was sitting on. Luckily he was in the same room and unplugged it immediately. It left a white residue on the table and the music box portion no longer plays.

This was actually better than I thought it would be. The lights are activated by sound, so even if you have the box closed the lights will still light up when there is noises, so make sure to turn the lights off when you are done with it.I know batteries were included, but it even had extra. The music box takes 3 of the batteries but it came with 10 batteries, which a pleasant surprise.It's taking too long to load a video of it in action, but it is pretty cool.

Brought for my son as birthday gift. Gifted to him on his birthday and right out of box, the music box is not working at all. Only LED light works, I gifted to my son too late and passed the return date. This product is not good quality at all. Trust me and don't buy, you will regret it eapically with the high price tag.

When I received this I was very happy, it was beautiful and I knew the person I was giving it to was going to love it. Under inspection however I noticed the light switch was broken. I even tried charging it for 24 hours and still nothing. While I am happy that it was beautiful, it was broken. I emailed the seller and got no reply. They still loved it but I am unhappy I was sold a broken item

I highly recommend this gift. The light is extremely bright and is ideal for a reading light. The crystal is heavy and expensive looking. Great gift for anyone

DONT BUY....... I got this item last week NO MUSIC PLAYED. Amazon replaced quickly. Today I received NO LIGHTS AT ALL...... NOT WORTH THE PROBLEMS........ edited Amazon has made everything right. If you are able to receive this item WORKING it is very beautiful and would be worth the money.

My daughter loves music boxes and this was such a unique gift for her & she loved it. For this it was worth the money. However, it is made cheaply - must treat it with kid gloves!

My wife and I had purchased this music box for my daughters birthday and when we got it, it did not work. I could hear rattling in it. It was to late to send back because of her birthday so I took it apart and there was 2 gears in there that were out. I had to fix it and glue it back together after paying $80

Nice strong quality material, song is okay. Improvement could be the miniature figure could either be positioned better or safely secured.

No lights and goddess figure makes a horrible grinding noise when spinning. Very very disappointed and too late to give as a birthday gift now. Junk.
