Unroll the canvas and spread it down onto a flat surface, then secure the edges with masking tape. 2. Peel back part of the plastic sheet covered on the canvas. Do not peel the entire plastic sheet away, or the adhesive on the canvas will get dirty and lose its tack; 1 to 2 inches will be plenty. 3. Take a look at the patch of canvas you just exposed. Choose a printed code to start with, and find the corresponding diamond bag. Pour out the diamonds into the tray. 4. Dip the pen into the gel to pick some up. This will make it possible for the pen to pick up the diamonds. 5. Use the pen to pick up a diamond. Gently press the tip of the pen against the top, faceted part of the diamond. 6. Gently press the diamond against the corresponding square. If you are just starting out, you’d better press lightly at first. So that you can nudge the diamond back into place if it is off-set, then press down on it to secure it. 7. Refill the pen with gel as needed. Continue filling the canvas in using the same technique as before until you finish the whole painting. 8. Cover the canvas with the plastic sheet that it came with. Go over the canvas with a rolling pin. This will press down any loose diamonds and secure them. You can also press it by heavy book instead. 9. Turned out really nice!
This is my second diamond painting (the first was a gift). I don’t like that this one uses a lot of symbols instead of all alphabetical or numerical. Some of the symbols are difficult to distinguish. Other than that it should be fine. There aren’t enough extra bags for all the beads so I haven’t started it until I run out and get a sorter for them all. I’m looking forward to it. Update... took me less than a month. I really enjoyed doing it and am very pleased with the result. I had plenty diamonds left over. The only thing I would change is the coding system. They should all be black. I did it on the deck in the sun because the white codes were too hard to see indoors. (Being a teacher with the summer off really helped.)

The kit came with everything. There were plently of drills, just in case I lost one or two. The adhesive was very sticky and the drills stuck on it well.

Very nice for the price.
Very nice for this price-point. The instructions were clear and I had no difficulty following the printed pattern. The glue was adequate, although not as thick as the more expensive kits. There were plenty of diamonds, but they were not uniform, and I had to be careful when selecting them. The finished picture looks very and is sparkly, as expected. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

Starry Night Diamond Painting - Round Drills
Starry Night Diamond Painting. Project turned out very nice. There were plenty of drills and not too many were stuck together. This project was a full drill project.

Said no returns or exchanges. I didn’t think prime did that.
Diamonds looked dull and had very little facets. Overall symbols are clear. To small to see definition. Just didn’t like.
