BEWARE !!! ... This product is NOT the usual poly bird netting. It's actually nylon FABRIC and VERY difficult to work with. I've been gardening with large bird netting for 20 years and this product is the most difficult...actually impossible, to work with. One critical flaw, not mentioned in the product description, is that it is woven on the diagonal, unlike typical bird netting that is manufactured in perpendicular/horizontal pattern. Therefore, it is IMPOSSIBLE to try to line this up on posts in a plumb-vertical pattern. Additionally the limp nature of this product makes it unusable for any application other than a drape. So, if you're looking to string bird netting around your garden or to hang vertically from set posts, DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!!!!! Unfortunately I went to set this in my garden after the Amazon return period. :-( :-( Don't make the same mistake!!!

This product seemed to offer a lot of square feet of net per dollar compared to the others. It is 6 feet wide. I used it to protect some tomato plants as we have some crazy mockingbirds that bite off the flowers. I use bamboo stakes so I ran the netting down one side and then back up the other side. Then I used the tie wraps to close it at the top. The tie wraps are made of plastic and wire like those on a loaf of bread. The tie wraps actually comes in a spool so you pull out what you need and use the cutter on the side of the spool. I think these twisty ties are what sold me. They are easier to move or remove that wire ties.

Tried to spread it out but it got tangled and I probably will throw it away because it's so difficult to put in use

This is the perfect package for all of your netting needs! I used this as a predator bird protector for my chicken run. It's very strong, will not tear easily. I love the wire spool included to attach the netting and it has a sharp snap type cutter attached. GREAT product!!! I'm super happy with this purchase and would buy again.

This net has kept the birds and cats out of my flowers.. so thankful, will purchase again for my fruit trees in the back yard!
