Not for video use
This did mirror the phone with one big exception, video, which was the reason I purchased it. I wanted to cast my Apple TV to my 2017 Samsung TV. As soon as I tried video, it just spun and locked up. Tried about 20 times before I gave up. I used the correct (additional $) power plug and the recommended app, so that want it. I have high speed internet and a new iPhone 11 Pro Max, so that’s not it either. This thing simply didn’t work and it’s not with the money, for casting video.

Need Technical Help
I cannot rate this product because it will not recognize the “password” the on screen prompt provided; and, there is no contact information for technical support. The product powers up, my phone recognizes the dongle; but, without a valid password to connect, it does not work.The sad thing is, I want this to work.

You get what you pay for.
Worked for 2 days and completely stopped, started glitching and lagging, then completely didn’t work, felt like it overheated with very light use. Wasn’t even using 4K, I was using 720p

Better than any other casting device
This thing was the best casting device on the market. I've tried those cheap Chinese anycast/miricast devices, and they suck. Bad picture, laggy, etc. This thing wasn't any more expensive, and I can get true HD quality streaming/casting from my smartphone to my not so smart TV.

Does not work with moniors and IOS
This device is not useful if you want to use it for Monitor and iOS like iphone or ipad. Monitor does not have speaker like TV hence 2 connection should be possible one for cast and one speaker. Somehow this does not work with iOS. It either cast or connect not both so not useful.

Delay between image and sound
So it worked, the sound was in synch with the video playing on my phone, but not the image! I sent it back, I don't see the point.

Magic!
This works like magic! Video and Audio in HD to any monitor/TV with an HDMI input and you do need a USB power supply, most monitors have this on the back next to the HDMI input. I am very impressed by this small piece of hardware.

Fine for some things ...
Didn’t perform as expected. I returned mine. I wanted to stream Netflix/etc from my phone to the TV, however wasn’t able to. Honestly, it was probably due to restrictions from Netflix, my cable company etc. but just didn’t work for me. If you just want to project pics, etc, this would likely work. Beyond that, not so much. Just keep in mind depending on your expected usage.
