This is a great portable stool.I work as a lighting technician in the film world in NYC, and I'm always on the move. Sometimes the ability to have a sit, one that isn't on the disgusting wasteland that passes for the sidewalk here, is just an amazing luxury.The stool is crazy lightweight and compact. It fits into a sidepocket of my backpack.I've had it for months now, and it's holding up well. I've been pretty rough on it, and it holds up really well! I'm also not a small man, and haven't felt it try and give on me. The legs are also taller than normal, so if you aren't a small person it is nice to get off the ground a bit.Can see this being great for camping, tailgating, construction, watching sports, or wherever else you might want a quick sit.

While the chair is great, I ended up returning it because it seemed the chair was already used. Also the carrying handle was all frayed, further validating my assessment that the chair was used. Took off the one star due to this issue.Pros:- Well constructed, high quality chair- Would be great to use as sporting events, waiting in long lines ,et.- Really light weight and compact- Comes with a carrying caseCons:- strap is too short/tight and cannot be carried on shoulder- Height could be 2 - 3 inches taller but not that bothersome

Item extremely small. I bought this for a 125#, 4'11" person and it was tiny for her. Very uncomfortable for her to sit in for more than a minute. When I opened it from the case, I could hear something rolling around within the hollow leg/tube part that sounded like a possible screw or some other piece that perhaps fells off within?? Very cheaply made and not happy with at all. Someone previously commented that it looks like it is for a little child and I totally agree. My daughter had something similar when she was 5. For a child?? YES!! Adult- NO... Only positive was the easy return policy.

Uncomfortable to sit on for long. Light weight, easy to carry and set up, but you can't sit on it for very long and you want to stand or sit on the ground. I wanted to use it to carry around a festival and then sit and listen to music but you're better off carrying a larger chair. I then tried using it to weed my flowerbed and it works only slightly better. It's probably better than getting up and down from the ground if you're moving a lot, but not much.

Super great. Simple and durable. Also its pretty comfortable. I use it for backpacking because its small and just enough to be able to sit off the ground. Plus the warranty is nice having since I'll be using it for camping and whatnot.

Bought this to tote along on some lengthy photo shoots.Lightweight, small. But so small the seat is low target to hit if you have an average size or bigger butt and any issues sitting down or standing up safely and easily. I just didn't feel using it was safe for me. The "unsafeness" was compounded by the fact that when the legs are spread as far as they'll go, they don't provide a wide enough base for preventing a tip-over... with someone going along for the ride to the ground. (Gave it to my 4 and 6 year old granddaughters. Perfect for them.)

This chair is so light and compact. It makes it so easy to take with you for any occasion. On top of that, it's surprisingly quite comfortable! The quality is also great, so it'll last me a long time.

We purchased 3 of these specifically for an event. The stool is well made and packaged. Unfortunately the seat height was too low for us to comfortably use. They were returned. This is not the fault of the stool, the supplier or manufacturer. It is our fault for not doing our homework better and comparing measurements prior to ordering.
