Joyisi 48V 15AH Electric Ebike Li-ion Battery with Battery Holder and Charger, 1000W Electric Bicycle Motor

I was hesitant to buy this battery at first due to the minimal amount of review feedback and poor English Grammer in the description. You never know. But, I ended up being very happy with it. Out of all the ebike components I ordered, this battery took the longest by far to get to me, about 11 days to reach me in North Central Florida. However, I believe that's because they ship from China which would also explain the poor grammar in the description. When you think about it, 11 days all the way from China is not bad. Considering the great price and inclusion of the rear rack, it really was worth the wait. I put it on a fat tire mongoose dolomite equipped with a 48v 1000w front hub motor. It was a very heavy bike to begin with, and my thinking was that having the motor in the front and the battery in the back would make for a more balanced bike. When I opened the first two flaps of the box I was surprised to find a package of ear buds sitting on top of the inner flaps. Was it a mistake, or just a free bonus? I'm not too sure. It was a weird and cool surprise though. I think it shipped mostly charged because it only took about three hours for the light on the charger to turn green. The range is great, just as descibed. On my first ride I rode it hard (lots of heavy throttle use) for over 20 miles thru loose sand and over steep hills. I would say I had enough juice left at the end to go maybe another 10 miles if I was careful and just used pedal assist. If you rode conservatively, just using pedal assist and maybe a little throttle over hills, coasting on the down slope, you could probably get well over a 40 mile range out of this battery. In short, I was very glad I took the chance and ordered it. It was well worth the wait and I would definitely recommend it.

I converted my Kona Dew Deluxe to electric with a controller and 1000 watt front wheel. The SLA batteries I tried initially were _functional_, but the bike had a range of about 6 miles @ approx. 50% throttle use. Since upgrading to the Joyisi pack, the utility of the bike has increased exponentially. I need to add a better gauge so I can drain the battery more fully between charges, but I'm getting at least 20 miles per charge, including some very aggressive uphill segments. On flat ground, the battery powers the bike to approx. 35MPH; even on really steep hills with minimal pedal assist, I do at least 15MPH. Biking 15MPH uphill with little/no effort is EPIC.Very happy with the battery. I wound up using a different seatpost rack instead of the pannier-style rack Joyisi provided, but that was more due to the geometry of my bike than any issue with the rack.When you order, keep in mind that the packs need to be assembled, tested, shipped to America, make their way through customs, and eventually get to your door. This is NOT a 2-day process; mine took about 2 weeks (which was within the quoted delivery date range).Awesome battery, solid charger. 10/10.

We bought 2 of these to go along with our AW 26"x1.75" Front Wheel Electric Bicycle Motor Kits and they work perfectly! The batteries that came with and were recommended by the wheel manufacturer were "clunky", had to be mounted in hanging bags and just didn't work well. These Li-ion Battery with Battery Holders are sleek, fit our Beach Cruisers perfectly, give us a rack to carry our "beach stuff" and one of the best features is how easy they are to charge! They lock in place when we are out and about, but I can unlock them, slide them both out and take them into the RV for charging when we return. Very happy with these and would recommend to anyone looking to convert their current bike into e-bikes!

I highly recommend this battery pack for many reasons. Price, capacity, ease of installation, longevity of power and performance of battery. On a tantum bike I achieved speed of 25 mph and battery lasted for over 22 miles with little pedal assist.After 8 usages the locking mechanism acted up and the company was quick to respond with replacement lock and key mechanism. They even provided a video to show how to replace lock.I will reorder another battery pack for my next bike.

I like the rack, and I like the battery, I guess, but I don't like putting the battery on the rack on an actual bike. The rack seems quite nice and is well thought out for fitting a battery into it and the adjustments are cleverly made to accommodate a great deal of adjustment. However, I found that putting that large, heavy battery up that high over the rear wheel less to too much wobbly flexing of the whole bike for my comfort, even on the street. The battery is too big to mount anywhere else on my mountain bike, so I worked up a custom support to put it under the seat of my recumbent bike. The rack is pretty nice as a rack and maybe I'll make a little box for the battery storage area...?UPDATE: I've gotten some pretty scary sparks trying to plug the battery charger into the battery. You can see the marks on the plug and the battery in the pictures. I have another Joyisi battery with a totally different kind of charging port plug-in that does not spark. I hope it doesn't damage the battery. It's pretty alarming when it happens...

Great looking product and will very much extend your ride time. Quality workmanship and excellent customer service. With the few questions I had the customer service rep got back to me within minutes!

I purchased the Battery for my Trike to make it useful while riding up hills and slopes. so far it keeps up with the specs that it says... will give more product review once I ride my trike more often which is going to be more often because It's helping me with my disabilities... that I couldn't do before and would rely on just riding my trike on the sidewalk... I was only able to ride for short trips. now I can ride longer trips and be able to enjoy my trike and the surroundings

First I like to say that the battery and rack were very well packaged. The installation was fairly straight forward with no problems at all. After installation I had taken a ride and was pleasantly surprised at the power on the road and up hills. We live in a hilly section of PA and the battery will definitely provide the power I need. Thank you for selling a fine product.
