Purchased these to use with Kinetic Sand for my little cousins and they work great! The sand holds its shape and we're able to create so many things! Don't judge the pic I included because my 3 year old cousin made it and she didn't put enough kinetic sand in and compact it down but it still turned out great!

I bought this set for my kids to use with kinetic sand. These products are made from inexpensive plastic, but they’ve held up well to use by my four children. There’s a good variety of shapes. The molds are fairly small, but my kids don’t seem to mind. Overall, it’s a great set at a great price.

I bought this set to go with a batch of kinetic sand I had purchased for my 4-year old niece. The pieces came in nice bright colors, and were fairly easy to use. My only "dislike" is that a couple of the molds had plastic nubs on top to remove the mold more easily, while others didn't. At times, my niece did struggle to easily remove the mold from the sand to enjoy her creation, which is why I took one star off. Overall, though, this was a good starter set to help build creativity. The variety in the molds was nice, as it included architecture and animals!

There are enough toys and a good variety for six to eight kids to play with. Provides a variety of activities to develop fine motor skills. Great for any classroom.

The plastic is brittle, and many of the pieces arrived smashed. The shards are sharp.

Pros:+There are so many molds in this set!+They are made of sturdy plastic.+I like the building molds best. My three year old likes the animals.+The molds came in a plastic zip bag that we use to store them when we're not playing.Cons:-The Mr. Potato head style pieces (hands and eyes) don't work in kenetic sand (kenetic sand is too unstable so the limbs just fall off) so we're putting those with our play doh toys.-Some of the details (esp in animals) aren't deep enough; my three year old keeps pointing out that he can't see the eyes of his animals.*****But these are small concerns. It's still a solid purchase and the variety of molds make playtime with our kenetic sand 10 times more fun.
