So far, I give this a 5 out of 5 stars rating, and I will update after 6 months of use. So far it's working as advertised and the S6 feels like a brand new phone again, my S6 gets a second chance at life.

So far so good. Installed it easily after watching a YouTube tutorial. Used a hair dryer as shown to heat the adhesive and carefully/slowly remove the glass back then front etc. I printed a screw diagram found online so I knew where to put each screw I removed and where to return it. The included tools helped immensely. Battery life has been back to normal compared to the miserable time I had with my previous failing battery. Glad I used the kit to change the battery!

So if you watch the video, you can see that the tools in the kit are not what help do the replacement. Take a look at the cut around the 30 second mark, the suction cup is DEFINITELY not strong enough to pull off the glass. If you look closely, you can see that they cracked the corner of the glass using some other unidentified tool that they cut back to as if the suction cup really worked that well. Either take it to a semi-pro or profession phone hacker or just buy a new phone. Was trying to get this for my mom but I think it may be better for her to just upgrade. We are in the galaxy 20 era now!!!

This was the second time I have replaced the battery in this phone. Got an additional two years out of the last one that was not from this company. $14.00 for two years isn't bad! I figured why not try again. Apparently I used a tad too much force and I saw a hairline crack in the screen when done. The phone powered up and made calls thru Bluetooth but the display was junk. There are many you tube videos to help. Even if you take you time it's still not for the faint of heart and be ready to trash the phone just in case...

It was so easy to replace. I charged the battery to full and so far it's working like never before, 3 hours in and I'm only down to 84% and I've been calling people, playing games, using Facebook etc. the battery is shaping up to be fantastic, thank you so much.

It is higher capacity than the others .

Decided to buy a new phone instead.Previous reviews scared me away.

Does not last any longer but does not get hot charging or using ..Little hard to install, the glue on phone is really tough...takes alot of heat.....

Great deal for a replacement battery. Easy to install after removing the back of the phone. Very straight forward and tools that ill use for my phone forever (I like to take it apart for every small thing). I've had my S6 for 4 years and I love everything but the battery. I hope I can find similar ones for newer generations of Samsung phones. I've been testing out the battery life and I can't complain. Definitely see an improvement, almost as good as when I bought it. Probably not the same because newer software updates draining more than the older ones. But S6 never had an amazing battery to begin with.

Bought this to replace my battery, as after two years of use I'm lucky to get 4 hours before it dies. Came with all the tools I needed, only took me about 30 mins to complete.

This battery claimed to have a higher capacity than the original, but after running a battery monitor app for a few months it tested out as being barely equivalent to the original battery.After some time now (one month past the warranty period) the battery has puffed up, cracking my phones screen top to bottom, and causing the back cover (and screen) to start separating from the phone in the middle.The phone was sitting on the counter when I heard a pop or crack sound, and when i looked at the phone the screen had cracked all the way top to bottom, and the case on the phone had partly unlatched due to the pressure from the battery swelling inside.

Installed in less than 10 minutes. Battery had a 40% charge. Haven't ran from a full charge but seems to be working great as of now!

In general removing the screen of a phone is not an easy job, but with lots of patients and working slowly and carfully it is possible, (on the general youtube videos they make it look easy) , but the kit did come with everything that is needed (except a heating method to heat the glue - Not advertised to come with package) to get the battery replaced. The tools are ok quality, they get the job done.The battery currently seems to work well and give me a full days use of the phone, cant remember the time i didnt need to walk around with a charger.i will continue to track the battery life if there are any changes.would recommend this product.
