Red King Crab Cluster, Previously Frozen

MY girlfriend bought some of these home (I wasn't a fan of King Crab because the ones I had were mostly shell and no meat) and I was HOOKED! These legs were so meaty that 4 of them could fill up an adult and they had great flavor. The reason these didn't get 5 stars wasn't because of the price, which is high (but worth it) but because Whole Foods in my area started buying them from a supplier in the Midwest. They look like farm raised because they were much smaller and had a lot more dirt on them than I care for and selling them at the same price as the wild caught. No thanks...

I fried mine in beer batter!! Heaven...

The quality was pretty disappointing and the legs were pretty small compared to other ‘king’ crab legs I’ve had. If I had seen these in person before paying for them I would never have paid the asking price.

Other reviewers said the same thing. I received 3lbs of KNUCKLES, JOINTS AND CLAWS. NOT ONE FULL LEG IN THIS $120 ORDER. It was deliberately CUT this way, I know my seafood. If I just wanted claws, they would call it KING CRAB CLAWS VS LEGS. SHAME ON WHOLEFOODS seafood department for cutting them this way, packaging them delivering to a valued customer. Disgraceful. Taste was just ok!EDIT: I got a refund from Amazon and used the money to rebuy crab legs at Whole Foods, but I went into the store and bought them vs delivery. They were delicious, big and actual LEGS! SO THEY DO HAVE WHOLE LEGS, just didn't give it to me via delivery order which defeats the purpose of online shopping.

I bot 3 lbs for three of us for Christmas lunch. Picked up from whole food and steamed them for five minutes. The meat is fresh and thick . It was so tasty that we were stuffed; we ended up not having appetite for turkey dinner. I guess crab Leg is our Christmas meal then !

Meaty and delicious! A little pricey but worth it.
