Will only cut 3 layers
Purchased this to use at work to open mail. Would not cut more than 3 layers although it states it will cut 5.... pretty, easy to use but not really functional for our use.

Love it!
I absolutely love this little trimmer. Perfect for take along to crops, scrap-booking, card making when I don't need my full size trimmer. It does what it is suppose to do. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for that small trimmer that fits in your bag.

What i don't like is the paper guide goes not lift up
Cuts well. What i don't like is the paper guide goes not lift up. You have to slide the paper under the guide. (one sheet at a time)

Unless you need to exactly duplicate the position and squareness of the cut, easier to just use scissors.
I have both this model and the 12-inch model. They both cut very well on magazine clippings, which is what I got them for, but you have to push down very, very hard. Unless you need to exactly duplicate the position and squareness of the cut, it is easier to just use a pair of scissors.

Its's short, it's sweet it gets MY jobs done.
I bought this only seeing a pic at Amazon on sale. I only use it to trim labels some less than 1/4 inch wide. It works perfectly for that. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it could be a bit more hefty, but that does not take away from appreciation of the trimmer.

Left it with the grandkids and they enjoy using it
It's ok, need something a little sharper and more precise. Left it with the grandkids and they enjoy using it.
