I truly love this curved flat iron! My hair stylist uses flat irons to give me great curls and I can never replicate how he styles my hair. This curved flat iron has been a game changer for me. You can straighten hair with it as well as curl! There are many heat level options, too. My stylist recommends not going over 300-350 degrees with any flat iron, so the functionality of this iron works well because you can set your temperature. Great quality for the cost!

I know ZERO about styling hair, and I mean ZERO. I have given up on curling my hair because A) I have no idea what Im doing B) if something isn’t quick and easy in my routine, I bag it and C) my hair resists being curled.After one use, I was able to get curls!!! I blew my own mind. This has NEVER happened to my hair without the involvement of a professional. I have fine, straight hair and this slid through my hair pretty easily.

The only reason I didn't give this hair curler 5 stars is that it doesn't have the bristles/teeth as shown in the first photo. My husband bought me the original curler that this one is a dupe for, which is the Tyme Styler. It was very expensive when it first came out years ago, but I absolutely loved it! Unfortunately, I left it behind during a trip to Vegas, and I was so sad because I loved it. My husband offered to replace it, but I didn't want to spend $139 on it.This design can be difficult to use if you're not accustomed to it. Having used the original Tyme curler, I know how to achieve different types of curls. I won't lie; it can be challenging at first to understand how to use it properly, as you might instinctively try to use the same techniques as a regular hair curler, which won’t work with this design.So far, I like this curler because it allows you to adjust the heat level, whereas the original Tyme curler did not have that option. I noticed that their new design does include adjustable heat, but I still think $139 "on sale" is ridiculous.

I have NEVER left a product review in all of the years that I have used Amazon. This hair tool is garbage. The plates do not glide down the hair smoothly. The plates are loose and do not come together correctly. It catches and pulls the hair along the way down. It leaves creases in the hair as you twist it to make the curl. This item is being returned.

It works, but I feel like the plates need to close tighter.

Leave a nice wave in hair

I wish I could return it but I used it twice. It will fry your hair if you are not extremely careful. The temperature control is in an awkward location and I accidentally turned the dial and increased the temperature while twisting the iron to create curls. I damaged my hair then and another time because I used a temperature that was in the mid-range and it was too hot. Even if I practice with it, I doubt I will like the results. The curl or wave that you get is kind of crimped and ratty looking at the ends. Plus, it would take quite a bit of time and effort to curl or wave my whole head.
