I was advised to use this with my pump years ago, instead I used a load controller, Eventually the load controller quit and I purchased this for my 24 volt system, I have had more water since installing, works great, I highly recommend it

Finally have a regulated well pump but i only wish they used larger screws for the terminals. I am using #8 wire as I should for a low voltage run and had a difficult time.

This is just one component in a fairly complex system that is suppose to pump water up about 200ft. My pump assures me that 300ft is no problem. I have rewired my 4 solar panels to provide 24V. While the pump does run and water starts to move, it never gets to the top of the hill. Maybe my panels are too cheap. Maybe there were too many clouds in the sky. The system worked "great" in tests of only 10's of ft.

I had this for updating my pump system, but due to work schedule had to wait 5 weeks to install. I got it installed and it worked fine for 1 day, then quit. Steady 24VDC input, 0VDC output. Now Amazon says I am 11 days past the date to return it. Waste of over $120.

It works OK with the shurflow 24 volt pump.

I added this to my solar pumping system and the pump runs cooler and is quieter. Water output increased also. Without it the pump would run way too fast during peak sunlight and it was getting so hot I was going to add a heat sink jacket. The other thing that is really great about this current booster is the way it allows you to control the pump. All you need is a float switch in your tank and a tiny pair of wires running from the tank to the pump. You set the float switch to close its contacts when the tank is full which is backwards from other methods. The closing of those contacts shorts out the solar panel and the pump stops. The advantage is that the wire can be tiny phone wire and as long as you want because no current flows through it when powering the pump. It costs more than the pump I use but it is absolutely worth it. I'm pretty sure it also prolongs pump life.
