K**!
Looks good, sounds good, cheap plug! It's been plugged in/out 10 times max and tip was stuck in iPad!
Update - Mistakes/issues happen, but it's how we deal with them that's more important. Kidrox reached out to me and was able to provide a working replacement that's going strong so far. Note, it was a different, arguably better, model (can fold, better cord, but not volume-limiting), and overall I'm glad the company stood by their product.Everything seemed fine - it fits well, limits volume, and looks cute/sturdy - but the plug is so cheaply made that it came apart in an iPad's jack!We have attempted to use this approximately 3 times (she still doesn't like to have them on her ears for a long time), and they've probably been plugged/unplugged a total of 10 times - maximum! The last time we tried it (she was excited to try them this time!), I plugged it in, she listened for a bit, then wanted to take them out. No problem, right? I pulled out the plug and noticed the iPad was still muted. Looking at the plug, the tip had come off and was left inside the iPad! After some frustrating times with tweezers and other implements, I was able to get the tip out of the iPad.Seriously can't believe how cheaply made that plug is! I have tons of headphones/earphones from high-end to "free with purchase" and none of them have failed like this. Some pairs I've had and used for years/decades! Seriously poor QC.Not sure if I'll even bother with a warranty claim, though I may repair it myself with a decent quality plug.

Not really just volume "limited", it is volume "suppressed".
I purchased these headphones for my 4 year old son, primarily to use in the car. There are 2 flaws with it that make it unusable for us. 1st is it's lack of adjustable size. Even without the extra padding, they don't fit my 4 year-old well. They are riding somewhat high up on his ears. There is nothing I can do about this. It actually fits my 1.5 year old perfectly without the padding. Granted, everyone's head varies in size/shape, and this would probably fit well for some other children. The 2nd flaw is that it is NOT just volume "limited". It is actually volume "attenuated/suppressed". All volumes are dramatically lowered. I have to turn up the iPad to maximum volume, and almost turn off the volume limiter completely, in order to hear anything reasonably over the noise level of typical family room conversation, or the TV. It actually makes it potentially problematic in that if you change headphones without re-adjusting the volume limiter on the device, those headphones could be extremely loud. Having not tried any other volume "limited" headphones, I am not sure that this isn't simply the standard for all of these types of headphones. On a positive note, the foam construction and single cable are nice, and seem durable enough to withstand a lot of abuse. Also, it has a nice small diameter straight plug that would fit all kinds of phone/tablet cases. The cable itself is also not too long. Unfortunately, this just doesn't suit OUR needs.

Made for kids alright!!
They weren't kidding, made for kids! It is extremely flexible and very well made! We had an other head set that got stepped on and broke. Naturally. This is a soft foam rubber and can take a beating and misuse that any five year old will put it through. Definite five stars!UPDATE:I downgraded one star because the wires are not kid proof. I'm on my third set of these headsets. I love how flexible they are. We are using them with our five year old. Bottom-line that just may be too young. He has been given explicit instructions on caring for and using these headsets. Hopefully he understands this time. Cords are breakable and delicate, Period.

May be too small for some kids.
Just got these and they seem pretty durable, but they are too small for my 4 year old son even with the spacer taken out! He does have a big head, but just be aware...if you are purchasing these for an older child or a child with a big head like my son it may be too small. The ear cups are really small as well, so they aren't large enough to make up for the small size of the headband.

3-year-old loves them
My three-year-old loves orange so I thought these would be perfect for him as he breaks out in a rash when wearing the headphones that came with his grandparent's vehicle DVD system. He's still small enough to need the insert but it doesn't stay clipped into place well so if he moves around, somehow it slips out. I don't need the volume up very high for him to be able to hear, though, which is nice. They are soft and flexible so I'm not worried about him breaking them on accident, either. Overall a great product for the price!

Strong and cute but a little quiet
We got two sets of these for our 4 and 6 year old boys. They fit the boys well and are very strong and sturdy. I love that the headphones can be bent or pulled and not break. The only bad thing is the volume limiting. It really is kind of quiet and on certain things it's almost hard to hear. I wish there was some way to turn off that part or increase it when necessary.

These fit our 6 year old's head fine. I am happy not to hear all of that beeping! The kid likes them because they are orange. Have not found the kid to be complaining that these aren't loud enough... My husband is a sound scientist though and suspects that the voltage on the plane sound system wasn't really intended for these, so I can sympathize with the previous complaints. But I wouldn't blame the headphones, really the blame is on the plane...

I do like the extra piece that fits on to the headset
I appreciate that there is a volume limit, but it is so quiet that you can barely hear the audio on an airplane which is almost the only time that we will use it. I do like the extra piece that fits on to the headset, it allows it to stay on my child's head without falling off every few minutes.

Bought them for a long international flight and have been getting my son accustomed to them. So far they have been great. He is only two though and really doesn't need the insert- guess he has a big head.
