Excellent knife with rounded off end. If one person does not get stabbed because we ALL buy this sort of knife it will be well worth the effort. I thought I would try this one first and it is brilliant. I will be replacing my other knives as soon as I can. THERE REALLY IS NO NEED TO HAVE A POINTED KNIFE. Thousands of assaults and murders have been perpertrated with knives taken from kitchens. We all know that it is not from OUR kitchens but if we all act together and don't use these unnecessarily dangerous knives we could, between us, save many lives.These knives are excellent quality and are fit for purpose in the kitchen.

I had owned my previous bread knife for years. As I always bought sliced bread, it was rarely used. When I started to bake my own bread, I discovered that this old knife was extremely blunt. I owned a knife sharpener but this had minimal effect on it. When I attempted to use it to cut a loaf of bread, it simply hacked at it producing irregular slices which were difficult to toast. I saw this knife on Amazon at a very reasonable price and decided to buy it. What a difference it made! It cuts the bread cleanly and evenly, producing thin slices ideal for putting in the toaster. I found that the knife had a secure, non-slip handle which was comfortable to hold. I liked the fact that the knife was not too long. My existing bread knife was very long, for no good reason that I could think of. This knife was a practical length. Overall this was a good quality knife at a very reasonable price. Recommended.

Good knife for vegetables, and bread,quite sharp serrated edge so watch your chopping board

Ordered these After seeing a documentary on knife crime and the deaths occurring from knives with the sharp pointed blades. The push for blunt end knives being promoted and was moved by it and hunted on Amazon and found this set of 4. These knives are excellent in weight, and super sharp on blade edge. They cut beautifully. But most importantly, the blunt tip doesn’t penetrate the skin. The teacher who was stabbed in Southport nearly died from the stab injuries and was told was life threatening because of a pointed blades ability to penetrate organs. Skin Cuts can easily be stitched but damaged.I didn’t want anything in my house that might hurt my grandsons. These knives are that good that I have ordered bread and carving knives.

Great sharp knife

Absolutely wonderful a safety knife that is so good I have bought I have now almost bought the entire range . The quality is superb and this is from the Viners Assure range in my opinion a must for every kitchen and outstanding value for money - a dream for any cook.
