Easy to use, amazing results. Buy one!
WOW. I thought my albums were clean. This darn thing really, really works. The water turned brown!!I ordered this one, but got the brown one. That's OK, though I can't see what dirt comes off the records until I dump the water in the sink. The records are sooo much better, less background noise & 'ticks'. It obviously won't remove scratches, but my records are not scratched.I cleaned maybe 20 records, it takes a couple minutes per record & I lay them on lint-free cloth to finish drying.Another hundred or so to go. Then, maybe I'll try it on my 78rpm collection.Even my old David Bromberg record sounds great! Now to find that old Lee Michaels Live record......

Gigantic Waste of Money
Why does this sell for $80? It's made of cheap plastic and it takes a huge amount of labor to use. I'm also not convinced that it's any more effective than a bit of cleaning spray and a towel. Don't waste your money on this. This is a product designed to suck money from people who value their records. While you might value your records enough to spend $80 on a tool for cleaning them, this product doesn't deliver anywhere near $80 of value.

Works great, takes some time though.
Seems to work really well. It does have a little bit of a cheap plastic feel, and the record doesnt spin as easy as I would have imagined, but it definitely does the job of wet cleaning vinyl records. One note, is it takes longer to clean each vinyl than you would think. but its worth it in the end. I really like how the the water/cleaning solution doesnt get on the label at all, it just follows the grooves right around the label.

Overpriced, no real drying method provided
Absolutely overpriced for what it is. Hard, brittle yellow plastic and what appear to be cloth diapers for $80? Come on.That said it DOES clean records, but there's just no way to adequately dry them with the provided materials. The provided cloth diapers are abrasive enough to actually visibly leave marks on records, if not used perfectly in the groove. I'd leave the records to air dry, but so much liquid is deposited on them that it would eventually run into the label if left vertical.Avoid.

It works great on surface dirt but not on the reall nasty ...
I bought this for may expanding record collection and it works on the thin vinyl recirds from the 70's and 80's. It does not work so well on the 180 gram records. They seem to thick. It works great on surface dirt but not on the reall nasty records. I have decided to go with an Okki Nokki to combate the real dirty ones.

Have extra drying cloths on hand before starting the cleaning process
Works very well, the most difficult part is drying the record after it's washed. Definitely have more than the two cloths included in the starter kit, and know that if you plan to use the included cloths, they highly recommend washing (no fabric softener) and drying prior to use. I used a clean, dry microfiber cleaning cloth, and found the most effective way was to use one cloth to get the bulk of the water off the vinyl, then use another cloth to remove the last bit of moisture. The first cloth gets soaked pretty fast. It worked well at getting sticky plastic residue (from poor quality original record sleeves) off the vinyl and I've never seen the grooves shine quite that way.

Working through my entire collection
Works great!... at least on the albums I didn't destroy as a teenager by over-playing and/or trying to fix a scratch by putting a quarter on the tone arm. The plastic feels a little cheap, but who wants to pay more for precision-lathed rollers? Not I.

Where did the pops and clicks go??
Wow! I have used multiple different record cleaning brushes, static brushes, guns, etc. but I still always heard clicks, pops and other noise while playing vinyl. I wrote it off to being "nostalgic" and just part of what you get with this media. Was I wrong! I always wanted one of those expensive vacuum record cleaning machines but couldn't justify the ridiculous prices. After hearing so much about the Spin Clean and reading the reviews I figured I might as well try it.I just cleaned my first 10 albums and have now listened to about 6 of them, both sides. There has not been a single extraneous noise...just music! Considering how much I just paid for a new turntable, this has to be one of the best bargains in audiophilia. It's also ridiculously easy to use. If you like vinyl, don't even think twice about this.
