These little lights are very bright and run forever on a USB battery pack. It took me a bit to figure out the touch settings but here's how it works:Quick tap: Light ramps up to full brightness. Another quick tap turns it off.Tap and hold: When at maximum brightness, dims the light slowly until you let go. If the light is, say, at half brightness, tapping and holding will bring it up to full brightness.If the light is on a specific "dim" setting, tapping once will shut the light off. The next time it's tapped, it will return to whatever brightness it was at before.Unfortunately, these lights don't "remember" what setting you left them on when they're unplugged, so each time they're plugged in you must turn them on manually.

I got these 'warm' LED lights to replace some older 'cool' ones that I was using as night lights. I was happy to discover that not only are the warm LEDs more soothing (guessing 3000K) but also these don't have that fast flicker that my other ones had. These look very natural and smooth. The dimmer works good to adjust the brightness when needed. On my USB meter, these run at 0.20 amps at max (so 1 watt). My USB meter couldn't detect any current at the lowest setting, but I bumped up the brightness just a touch and it showed 0.02 amps (so less than a tenth of a watt). These lights are really cool...I mean...warm (heh-heh).

I really like these. They've got some features that make them more useful than other lights, e.g. they can be dimmed by merely swiping them with your finger, and they don't require a specific orientation, i.e. they can be inserted into a USB slot without worrying which side goes in which way.They provide a considerable amount of light, though at their brightest setting, they do get pretty warm. They can even provide enough lighting to brighten a subject if you're recording video or taking photos with your cell phone, GoPro, or other small camera. Used with one or more small power banks, you could have a small portable video lighting system.

If your buying for kids I'd recommend a model with fewer lights, they can get very bright and uncomfortably warm. They work well at low setting with a cheap battery bank for a leave anywhere night light. The touch/squeeze controls take a bit to get used to.As a side note I think they may do well later as USB load testers with a multi-port.

Surprisingly bright, fortunately they are dimmable. They draw a little more than 1W at full brightness, I am measuring .22-.23 A at 5V, so that would be about 1.1-1.5 watts.The ones I got were closer to soft white than warm white - definitely not as blue as full daylight color, but also not 2700K warm white.

Holy crap, that is bright! I was pleasantly surprised at how bright these were.In fact, I made the mistake of looking at it while I was playing with the dimming feature and working it out.Now I have these little gray spots in front of my eyes everywhere I look!Seriously, terrific product, and especially useful since it can be turned either way so you are not limited by the direction of your USB port.I honestly think you could use this a work light, it is so bright.

It's a good product. However it gets really hot after it's been on for a while. So trying to dim you will burn your fingers. Still 4 stars because I like it. I can deal with the heat.
