I purchased four of these cameras to allow me to view the principal areas of my home while out, and to monitor the activity of my pets.They were easy to set up, and provided they are placed within easy reach of a power point, (or used with an extension (USB or mains)), there are literally no limits where they can be placed within the home - and they do not require any special installation - just a place to sit, with a clear and open view of the intended surveillance area.They give colour pictures during the day, or with lights on, and a very effective black and white image in total darkness, which is enhanced by the bank of multiple in-built infra-red diode lights placed on either side of the lens.I mounted one upside down in my conservatory, close to the ceiling, using a purpose made bracket, which I was able to purchase from Amazon.The cameras can be remotely controlled using the app, allowing 360 degrees rotation, and up and down movement from vertical to approximately horizontal, covering all required areas - though if you want to see more of the floor area, to cover the movement of pets, it may be beneficial to place the camera on a low table or other suitable location.They work well, and I am pleased with the level of cover they give.

The media could not be loaded. Overall I find this product great and far superior than the cheaper unbranded cameras, it has a great app and it is priced well.However I'm disappointed to see that this does not come with an sd card , you have to buy this separately, and where Eufy have done great in the past to keep subscription free (there spotlight cam comes with 4gb and wireless base station 16gb), i see this as a stepping stone to charging for subscriptions with their own cloud based service (not sure of uk price, they advertise the dollar price on the app at $2.99 per device or $9.99 for up to 10).Also with this camera needing an internal memory card, what's stopping Billie the Burglar from spotting the camera and then fleeing with both the camera and video evidence of his great escape! Eufy need to allow the video footage to also be stored on the hub, out of sight from Billie the Burglar.The only way around this without buying the cloud subscription would to buy a separate NAS hard drive as this camera is compatible with the RTSP protocolI sincerely think there is a close match with Arlo and Eufy. Eufy offer value and a great app, but Arlo offer the greater design with free 5 day cloud storage on there 1080p models. I do own both and I'm thinking of selling the arlo ones on ebay. 5 days free storage isn't enough for me when I go on holidayThis camera can be put absoultely anywhere , ceiling, wall (stand sold seperately) or free standing and setup is straightforwardI particularly like the tracking feature and it does work wellIt has a built in alarm that can activate when motion is detectedThis camera is compatible with alexa, I'd just like them to add one more feature, for Alexa to annouce when motion is detected (arlo cameras do this!). I will then update this review to 5 stars.

I've owned this product for a few years now. I work on a military base and this works with wifinity. I have a dog so I use it to keep an eye on him. He does not set the camera off as an intruder unless he howls and you have the baby cry system turned in then it sends you a notification. I can talk to him through the camera to stop the barking or howling it's great!Really really easy to set up I'm rubbish with technology and had no troubles.You can set zones on the camera too so if the dog gets on the sofa you can tell him to get down etc I don't bother but it's a great feature!This camera does even more of you get the AI box thing but I've not found I need it. Ive just bought two more as we are having a baby so one will watch out other front door and the baby and one will be just for the baby as a monitor.

I bought this as I didn't want a camera which insisted on having to use its own cloud storage (this also comes with local storage), is affordable and that works with HomeKit.This is a great camera. I like the "pan" feature, the fact it can be mounted upside down, the night vision is pretty good, and so far my experience has been pretty satisfactory. However there are a couple of issues I have.While the app is good, there are a concerning number of indicators that this is a Chinese product (and the security concerns that accompany that) in the poor grammar and low quality UI elements littered in the app.Another point to mention is that the geolocation setting (marked as Home if you are within a certain defined range of the camera) needs a lot of work. It isn't always accurate, meaning I was away for almost a full day before I realised the camera was still "sleeping" as it thought I was home. This has happened a few times, so it's easier to just turn it off and deal with false positives when I'm home.The other issue is the minimum radius is still pretty big, covering the neighbouring 3-4 buildings on either side of my flat, as well as the road. So I could be a street away (in a shop, at a friend's, even at work if I worked nearby) and the camera would consider me home, and disable itself.

Superb product - easy to install and set up the App and the pictures and recording are superb. A step ahead of our previous models. The only (slightly amusing) incident was receiving several warnings about the AI finding a human in the entranceway of the house. The guilty party being an oak coatstand.The only downside to the order (not product related) was that Amazon used Royal Mail to deliver. We were expecting the delivery and received RM updates to expect by 7.30pm. About 3pm they sent a cancellation and told Amazon they had failed to deliver at 2.21pm. There was no attempt to deliver made - RM demonstrating poor reliability.
