Kidrox Wired Kids Headphones, Volume Limited with Padded Cushions and Removable Size-Adjuster, Safe for Children (Green)

I bought these in 2015 for my toddler grandson. Since this time he has graduated to lil gadgets amazon wireless headphones. They still work and have taken a beating. But the grandkids now prefer wireless bluetooth headphones so we have upgraded two wireless headphones. With wireless I do not have to worry about them walking away from the computer or tablet and pulling it with them with the wired headphones. On the Kidrox the ear cuffs were comfortable, the top extension allowed the headphones to comfortably fit a 2.5 year old. By the age of 3 he no longer needed the extension. He will be 5 in June and these still fit although he prefers the wireless and will only wear these when necessary.

Ordered two for my kids to use. First month... no problems. Worked well. We just use them in the car, and my kids aren't harsh on them. Yeah they get tossed around a little but nothing out of the ordinary.One month in, one of them breaks. I contact the company (KidRox), no hassle they send me a replacement... good experience. About two months later, the replacement no longer works. Contact the company again, now they want me to ship it back to them at my expense. I can understand that they want it back, but I'm out $10 shipping on a $16 product that will probably break again. I told them I wasn't going to pay to ship it back. I think a reputable company would provide a return shipping label. Never heard back from them.To make matters worse, the second headset broke after about 4 months. When I say "break" I mean they just don't work anymore. No visible signs of any damage, just stop working.Both headsets are in the trash, I will give a different headset a try with my kids. Gave an extra star because my first breakage, customer service was responsive.

This is true to durability, pretty tough material. I was very hesitant to buy this product because of reviews of the size and volume were poor quality. I will say my son is 2yrs old going on 3, and this fits him snugly. He will definitely outgrow in a few months, and his head size isn't very large. This would be a 5 star in my book if it was adjustable. Now the volume seems to be exactly where I would leave it for his ears, so its perfect now. If he were a little older than I can see why it may bug you. I love that the cord is long and would definitely recommend this product.

Update: Was contacted by Kidrox customer service shortly after this review - they sent me a new/different pair free of charge. Great customer service. Plus, the new head phones are great. If you are looking at these headphones for a plane or car ride I would suggest lloking at Artix Headphones. They worked much better for our toddler.The volume control seems like a nice feature in theory but in actuality it is not good. Bought these for cross country car trip and with the noise of driving you could barely hear anything.

Review by KZ: my son needed these for school, and they were recommended by another mom that used them for the previous school year. To me, it did not seem like they blocked the speakers from being too loud when we tested them out. It seemed very loud to my husband and I. I ordered a second pair from JLab, and compared to these, I could tell the JLab ones were blocking the volume. I would not buy these again.

We bought two pairs of these by accident and the one pair broke after about an hour. They were dropped (which shouldn't be an issue with a kids pair of headphones) and the port broke. Contacted the company, said that they don't cover drops but would replace them, when I informed them that we had moved and they would have to go to another address, we never heard from them again. Would not buy again.

I got thses for grand daughter ... the padding in the head phones fit it to her 6 mo old head for use on an airplane ... she is now 2 yrs old, and still able to use it in public areas where other may be disturbed by noise from electronic devices.... This is a must on AIRPLANES and Public areas.. with all due respect to families with children... some do not want to hear constant sound of Baby Einstein, Elmo, or Kids entertainment.

These headphones seem great so far. My son took them out of the box and used them with no problems. He is 5 so he can be a bit rough. I would say he can bend and twist these without them cracking. They fit on his head without the foam insert. I haven't tested whether they pass the stepped on test and we are hoping to not have to. He has dropped them a few times with no problems. If you are looking for something durable and easy to use, go with these head phones.

These are THE best headphones I have ever purchased for a toddler. It is incredibly flexible and very easy to use. The are made for busy, little hands. These headphones come with an extension pad that you can click onto the middle of the headphones to make them tighter on a child's head. Some great aspects of this particular headphone are that they made of safe, soft, bendable, BPA Free non-toxic EVA foam. Kids can Stretch and Twist them and the go back into their original shape right away. They are made for children 3 years old and up. I love the fact that the sound limited to 85 db. max which makes it safe for children. They come in 4 colors: black, dark blue, dark purple, bright green and bright pink. I recommend this product.

Trustable for children. Don't have volume control.
