This was definitely my first foray in to buying soy candles. I purchased the set for my sister and I (I like bright scents, she likes the earthy flavors). In a crazy turn of events, she picked the Lemongrass and I went home with the Sandalwood. I burned it once for a few hours, but unfortunately, my candle didn't smell like anything...it was super disappointing. The snuffed-out wick had a more earthy smell than my candle!I didn't really think about it again until I got an email from the owner of the company asking me how I liked my purchase. I decided to let her know the whole story: sister's house smelled like a spa after burning the Lemongrass for an hour and she therefore loved hers! Mine had a vague scent of sandalwood, but when burned smelled like nothing.Jenny (the owner) immediately responded to my email apologizing for the inconvenience and offering to replace the candle free of charge. She even offered to replace with a different scent. I decided to go back to my usual Lemongrass. She responded that she couldn't separate the set of Lemongrass and Sandalwood, but she would be happy to send me both. BOTH!I haven't experienced customer service like this in a long time. Not only is she committed to the quality of her product, but she will bend over backwards for her customers, even when it ends up costing her more.

This set includes two 8 ounce candles which I believe it's a great deal for the price. They smell amazingly good and last a lonnnnng time. I left it on all day and night and it is still almost full. O bough this "romantic set" but the smell is so soothing that i put one on the living room and one in the bedroom.They smell of red roses intermingled with splashes of sweet musk & smooth sandalwood and honeymoon Romance it definitely a great fragrance mix. I love the fact that they are 100% soy and therefore will burn longer than regular paraffin/wax combination candles. They advertiseda burn time 50-60 HOURS and I truly believe this after 2 days of non stop using it! I also like that the jar candles have a thick glass as to prevent easy shattering ( since I have two little ones at home who accidentally always drop things! The quality of this products is definitely high! I strongly recommend this product!

The product is absolutely wonderful and once you buy a soy candle you won't go back to wax candles. When the package arrived I couldn't wait to open it as I could smell it through the packaging. The candles are conservatively packaged, they smell wonderful and burn nicely. I had not heard of EarthGlo prior to my search for soy candles through Amazon, but after trying them, I will definitely return as the aroma made my apartment smell wonderful, but the scent did not over power me. I will buy more candles from EarthGlo and I have already contacted the seller for a catalog or some other way to learn more about the other candles she might have available for sale. Since switching to soy candles last year I have never been happier and since my first experience with EarthGlo has been so positive I will be returning again very soon - great product!!

The candles arrived on time as expected. The picture of the candle set makes the candles appear like they are larger than their actual size. However, the product description does clearly state 8 oz. jars, so that is my bad. The scents (lemongrass and sandalwood) are a lot subtler than I like in a candle; at first sniff before lighting, I mostly smell the soy base and not as much of the scent I was hoping for. When lighted, the candle’s scent is not really detectable more than a foot away. Also, one of my candles has been lit for no more than 10 hours but is already half gone. The burn time of 50-60 hours seems like an extreme over-estimation. Overall, not what I was expecting, but if you like very subtle scents and don’t mind not getting a longer burn for the price, then you might enjoy these candles.

candles are lovely and are beautifully packaged. only reason to not give 5 stars is the scent is a little soft (in the sandalwood scent especially) and I generally like candles that make the room smell different.i am most impressed with how nice and evenly these burn (melt wax all the way to edge of jar, and then starts melting down in the jar, instead of 'tunneling' down with a pool and hard wax around the edges.i can also say i believe the burn time will be at least 50 hours as the description states- i have burned the candle for at least ten hours so far, possible a little more, and the re-solidified wax level is still quite close to the original fill line.customer service emailed me to make sure i was happy with the candles and was very polite and friendly in wanting to make sure their customers are happy! highly recommend this seller!

These arrived pretty much exactly as expected. They smell good to me - not sure if natural or artificial, but it doesn't give me a headache like some candles do... so that's a plus. I read some of the reviews before I purchased and I noticed that one person said that the flame was "very intense"....but this looks like a normal candle / flame to me. Lol. Anyways, definitely happy with my purchase.

I am extremely disappointed in these candles. There is practically no fragrance whatsoever in either of them. They are the most mild-smelling candles I have ever purchased. When the candles are not burning, and I stick my nose in the jar, I can smell a faint fragrance, enough that I can tell each one smells different. When I first opened the candles and noticed how faint the scents were, I was hopeful that the redolence would increase after burning. I was wrong. I burned through half of both of them, and they admit no fragrance to the room whatsoever. I also have to say that I have a very strong sense of smell. It's why I burn candles. All of my other candles and essential oils pack a much more powerful fragrant punch than these candles.
